    For Froch:

    - Take control of the center ring.
    - Be busy with the jab and fire no single shots. Carl is the bigger man with the bigger reach.
    - Attack Golovkin, but not to relentlessly. Golovkin does not have the best defense and he is there to get hit and with question marks over his chin.

    For GGG:

    - Center Ring (The one who holds it might end up dominating the fight)
    - Cut of the ring good (Froch is not effective when he is forced to box on the back foot)
    - Upper body movements and move side to side, while feinting (When we saw Kessler do that, he had success with his counters and he hurt Froch a couple of times)
    - Use his speed (He is not the quickest fighter, but he is defiantly more quicker than Froch)

^^ - Center ring is gonna be the most crucial, i don't think Golovkin can outbox Froch while he is on the back foot and Carl get his jab going and the other way around. Like Virgil Hunter said, if you cannot fight Froch on the inside, he can wear you down. And while i don't doubt GGG's skills, he is there to get hit and doesn't seem to care too much about it, however with Froch he has to.

Prediction: It depends on how much Froch has left, however i dare to say that Froch will stop him and if not GGG might do him on points :deal

Anyways if Froch takes this fight, it will just show that he is not a ducker. And a victory over Golovkin would end his career perfectly and it would put Froch above Ward.

I expect Golovkin to push Froch around as Froch tries to remain at a distance.

Both guys can hurt each other, but I see GGG being able to work thru Froch's telegraphed jab, and his slower looping punches, attack the body, and counter him to a UD or late stoppage.

That being said, it wouldn't surprise me in the least should Froch manage to gut his way thru and rally late. Froch has it in him.

I think Froch stops GGG late. This is a mismatch, GGG is nuts if he thinks he can hang with the guys at SMW.

His fighting weight it the same as Froch and Wards. And his punch power is that of a LHW.

Why the hell can't he hang at 168?:nut

Exactly. This will be exactly like Abrahams move from MW to SMW.

people who compare ggg to abe i dont get it.

stylistically there alot different. abraham didnt even throw a punch till like rd 4

ggg gives u that work the from opening bell and just might be a jack of all trades.

where all abe can do is really hit u really hard n thats bout it. sit there n cover up till u get overconfident or tired and then start throwing his bombs. it worked for a while till he stepped up and guys like froch just didnt engage in too many hard punches just a nice little jab n quick little combos to the best of froch ability cuz hes not that fast but still abe didnt know how to hit some one who actually was smart enough to anticipate his big shots where froch anticipated them so much that he completely prevented abe from even throwing them

froch wont do that to ggg imo . froch can win the fight tho hes the bigger more pro big fight expierence .. froch faced adversity and got back from it succesfully for example vs taylor

ggg will have his hands full but ggg imo is quicker more athletic and prolly more powerful even though ggg is moving up and is the smaller man. ggg has better footwork i actually have a hard time picking froch to win but then i remember what froch has accomplished and u cant really count him out. very tough fight for ggg or for any fighter in or around the weight in the whole entire world besides andre ward

I think Golovkin might just pull out his best performance yet, when faced with a top-notch opponent with the power to hurt him. I think that after this one (please let it happen!) folks won't be talking so much about GGG's power as his boxing skills. He can't take Froch lightly, and he can't afford to let him get free shots off on him either.

One thing we gotta remember, is that GGG doesn't really have a good defense, he doesn't mind to get hit here and there, however against Froch that could cost him the victory.

If GGG tries to do like Bute and try to gun him out, he are the one who is gonna get hurt badly. GGG hasn't really been hit with good shots, nowhere near the caliber, the ones Froch can fire. But again if Froch is too shot, then GGG could stop him.

Anyways this fight will be a good promotion for the sport of boxing, unlike some other Welterweight fight :deal
