Darleys Perez v Anthony Crolla. WBA Lightweight title. July 18th

Really hope Crolla pulls this off.

 

Really? I had Matthews, either way, if you struggle against Matthews, you shouldn't be fighting for a world title.

 

This time last week thought Perez was nailed on but watched a few training videos of Crolla and he looks very focused. Think he will win on points and if he does win it would be a tremendeous feat after what he went through.

Wish Ant all the best and fingers crossed he becomes world champion.

I have seen a few posts online that foster will be ref. Please no british stoppage

 

Regardless of the outcome crolla has improved massively over the last couple of years. He would beat Matthews comfortably now. Would love him to win and then fight flanagan

not sure he'll win on points on a matchroom card! may bet on crolla UD in a possibly undeserved SD. Hard to really know how crolla's recovered physically and mentally after the attack.

 

Crolla has sold just shy of 2000 tickets.

 

I'm hoping Crolla can do this... What a comeback story it would be.. Would not be suprised at all to see perez beat him though

 

Crolla's best chance of winning this is really to stay as busy as possible seeing as Perez doesn't throw hundreds of punches per round. That said, by staying busy, he has to be smart and not go all out. Would love to see him become world champ after the horror injury. It's a more than doable job, if he sticks to a gameplan. War Crolla !
