Maybe? Who knows, I havent seen GGG fight someone of that level yet and I dont think Abraham is top level at SMW, but we are talking GGG and Froch.
How about using a 5 or 10 fight average? 72 punches/round. 38 jabs/round. 52% Jabs. atsch Woops. Learn boxing. GGG does not have fast hands. He has great timing and accuracy. Not the same thing. But I could understand how a casual could confuse the two.
Lets just say: If GGG wins this (which i don't think he will) he would beat astronomical odds against him.
Froch landed 200 punches on a dazed Bute and couldn't put him down one time. GGG only needed 1 punch to KD/KO a completely lucid Bute with headgear and big gloves on. Different levels
No I doubt it GGG is much more mentally tough than Bute is. It was almost like Bute had a nervous breakdown in that fight it was bizarre to watch.
In his last fight vs Murray he almost doubled his power punch output to his jab output you idiot. Power punches are 5 times more effective than run of the mill jabs. You wanted his best opponant. I juust give you the stats. Its right there and you don't have an answer for it. JFTR, every single boxer on Earth throws more jabs than power punches. With a few exceptions;. GGG is one of them. Kovalev is another.
You are aware that the widely quoted 345-5 amateur record is total fabrication GGG had plenty more defeats that this! This partial record is the only amateur details I can find: http://amateur-boxing.strefa.pl/Records/Golovkin_Gennadiy.html Won 43 Lost 8 Includes a loss to Andre Dirrell and a battering in the Olympic Final. Promoters generally massage extensive amateur career stats as they know nobody can check fully! They probably shouldn't have pitched as low as just 5 defeats though!
Jabs 292/72 25% PP 524/220 42% He almost connected with more PP then he even THROWN jabs. That's how much your argument lacks substance right now.
Do you somehow not realize that the ratio of jabs to power punches has literally nothing to do with handspeed? Look at Naz and RJJ for god's sake. I'm only debating that with you for your own edification. For some reason you think it's impossible to be accurate without speed. Well Kosta Tszyu is on the phone and he'd like to have a word with you, he's going to conference in Julio Caesar Chavez Sr if that's alright with you. You thought Rosado and Stevens were the best guys he'd faced. Even if you want to pretend you meant "at that time", well, Rosado was his NEXT FIGHT after Proksa and Stevens was his NEXT FIGHT after Macklin. Both Proksa and Macklin are easily better than Stevens and Rosado. Why am I doing this to myself? It's like a Nobel Prize winning physicist debating with a high school science teacher.
What the hell is a partial record pulled from some obscure site? Just looking at his losses. AD Loss in America Yeah, that is legit. 15:14 You look through GGG's entire am record, there is hardly no shut out besides that Olympic final defeat. His loses was close.
Naz and RJJ never had the accuracy or boxing prowess of GGG. The first time either "hand speed guru" met a boxer they lost pretty badly. Gary R J has fast hand-speed also? He got his ass beat by a superior boxer. Naz and RJJ were also not throwing as many punches as GGG per/rd, never mind matching his accuracy for power punches. (RJJ standing at an angle and throwing out jabs is not classed as a power punch) Reference two workhorse boxers? You know Zab, regarded as one of the fastest boxers ever? Didn't one of those guys with no speed knock him the fook out? :/ 3rd point. I said "Arguably" Those were just 2 boxrec stats I could find on a quick search on Google. I'm glad you called me out on that once, because it made me find the boxing stats for his fight vs Murray, which was much more convincing and much more recent with my statement about GGG throwing more pp than jabs. which he did in that fight.
