Wow chill. I twisted the Pavlik and Froch fights in my mind. It was long time ago and those white boys all look alike. That said Froch was badly hurt in the 3rd round. You might be right about the weight tho.

GGG does not have fast hands but it doesn't matter. Because, like Kosta, he is an elite boxer with elite timing and accuracy and devastating power. So ya, he'll best Froch and he can beat a lot of other guys who (unlike Carl) have faster hands than him.

And your 3rd point... You said arguably, but it wast arguable. It was irrefutable that rosado and Stevens were never his 2 best opponents at the time he faced them. They were both worse than the guy GGG had fought IMMEDIATELY PRIOR to taking them on. The Murray fight is an aberration when viewed in GGG's larger jab/power lunch trend. He throws 15 more punches/round than the middleweight average. 4 more power punches and 11 more jabs per round!!!

For some reason you're trying to insinuate GGG doesn't have hand-speed. Averaging 40+ punches per/round with acc of higher than 30% in both jabs and power punches tells a different story.
When people say "timing" to me in boxing, its like marquez's 10 punches a rd with a high % acc rate.
GGG throws too many punches to be merely a "perfect timing" type of guy. He's throwing too many punches per round.
If you can't get that into your skull already, I'm truly sorry for your learning difficulties.

RJJ was 35 years old and coming back from HW when he fought Tarver, and he had just beaten Tarver already... So even if you want to be an idiot and dismiss the Toney and B Hop schooling, let alone the Virgil Hill brutalizing and say that Tarver was the first real boxer he faced... He still beat Tarver the 1st time he faced him...

Froch vs GGG could be an absolute classic.

Personally, I'd favor Froch to win. Unlike other weight classes in the sport, the jump from 160 to 168 is enormous. The top guys at 168 have been campaigning there for the entirety of their careers and are supremely conditioned to the weight. GGG has proven himself to be an absolute beast at MW but, if you were to take each and every one of GGG's opponents and put them in against Froch at 168, I'm fairly certain Froch would do something similar to all of them.

Before he fights Froch, GGG should be fighting the likes of Bika, Abraham, Steiglitz etc at 168.

 

It's particularly odd when you note that earlier he made a point about how Khan has the fastest hands in the game but doesn't throw a lot... I think he's going to make me lose my mind.

Agree with your GGG/Froch comparisons except I'm taking GGG and I feel quite confident in it. He's got almost no chance against SOG though if that's next...
