Boxing Gossip goes bezerk! Rant - The GGG fans turn me to a Gennady Golovkin hater

I wanted to like him.

Was immediately turned off by his fans in a Bute/Khan-esque manner, except even worse.

Plus his arrogant happy-go-lucky persona and his resume just give me nothing to look past his fans' inconsistencies and cheerleader nature.

Golovkin seems like a cool/humble guy, don't know where you get the arrogance thing from

His fangirls are truly unbearable tho.

 

That ****py quiff of his would lose its life if he had the ***** to say he hated GGG to his face.

 

I always try to refrain from using this term, but when a guy says "his defense is terrible" for an amateur boxing legend, he obviously, alright let's say, doesn't know much about boxing.

 

Fans seemed to soak up the innocent broken-English things he says as cute. They are however arrogant. Everything about him from the title he scooped to how he behaves seems a carefully manufactured star-in-the-making and mostly public relations moves.

"I figured I didn't want to end fight in first round, so I let him go a while."

"No, I don't want fight. Who is he? He has done nothing."

"I will fight anyone 154-168." / "I will not move to 168 to fight Ward." / "I am interested in fighting Chavez at 168."

Nothing but respect for Golovkin, he is a HUGE asset for boxing.

The reason he has rabid fans is due to his complete dominance, its like no other in the sport right now.

Dominance against sub-par competition...Nothing to be excited about at all,honestly.

 

Lack of competition gives his haters fuel to HATE.

Can't blame a guy for trying. He's after a Froch fight.
Although, I always defended GGG in his mission to unify the corrupt MW division.
Now he states he can do 168lbs, it makes me not able to defend his avoidance of Ward anymore.
I'll state that as both of their fans.

 

The fans of most fighters make me want to hate the fighters...thankfully I have my own eyes and can judge who I like and who I don't. The fans might make me wan to to hate someone but the fighter will make me like or loathe them. I like Pacquiao, but I hate his fans, I like Golovkin, but hate his fans...

 

Skinny, little half a f.a.g! That is what's considered manly in the U.K.. His neck looks like a stack of dimes.

The guy would be euphoric if GGG had a U.K. passport.
