    Fair enough :thumbsup

But no Langford, Greb, armstrong, Charles, fitz, gans, walker, Benny leonard or Moore even sniffing the top 10?

Edit: sorry, Armstrong is in there :thumbsup

You can see my full top 25 in the thread i created about it yesterday. It's far from perfect but I've put a lot of thought into it over the years so I'm happy enough with it to post it at this point.

Ya, Dixon is not a top 50 guy for me or particularly close (he's more of a low-end top 75), and neither are a handful of other guys on that list. But I'd say he hit on around 40 of my top 50.

I like it. Monzon way high for me and I can't rationalize Langford behind Jack Johnson given their history.

If Carlos Monzon isn't in someones' top 10, then I just can't respect that list.

The problem with things like this is that everyone has an opinion similar to the one I just shared about Monzon with other fighters they value. No one will ever agree on rankings and opinions of so many different fighters from so many eras.

Fair enough, I have Monzon falling anywhere in the 20-35 range depending on my mood and the weather. So it doesn't look like we'll be coming to a consensus any time soon.

If Floyd ain't on a top 10-15 list, then its a ****py list. Sorry to say.

Historians and boxing aficionados will have him there.

    They already had him a top 12 post WW2 list b4 he fought Pac/Maidana 2 I believe.

If he ends 50-0 and beat 2 more HOFS, it's finished. It's a surefire thing.

Floyd is definitely a top 15 fighter, i laugh when people list these fighters from the 1800's with 30 losses and 50 draws what a joke.

And that's the nature of the beast!

I wish people could be more open to respecting others' opinions.

Especially when discussing almighty "All Time Greats," it seems to get pushy around here when someone doesn't agree with someone else. Everyone should acknowledge the reality of different eras and that ranking resumes of varying kinds across 100 years and 8 or 17 divisions is highly debatable.
