It doesn't work that way. It doesn't work that way. It DOESNT work that way. A beat B, who lost to C, but beat D......

Either way, how does Perez losing make anyone's stock go up? The guy is irrelevant.

The more people are reminded of Wladimir's fight with Povetkin, the more his stock goes further down.

Now that's an idiotic statement. He was relevant enough to earn Jennings a title shot against Wladimir after losing in an extremely close fight.

More Povetkin wins, the more Wlad is forced to give him a rematch. Sasha is the only HW who deserves a unification fight with Wlad.

This, that victory is tainted. Plain and simple.

I want to see a rematch if Wlad does Fury and Sasha beats Windy. I'm sure Wlad will like another $20m check.

Wlad dominated a great fighter, deal with it.

No it actually went down. Povetkin had a different regiment and trainer. Also Wlad should have had 2-3 deducted from him.

Then should we not applaud him for making the best available competition even better?

Wlad beat his head in with left hooks

Yes he did and also clinched a lot. Povetkin is a diff fighter now with a diff trainer and a more focused approach after that loss but if the ref deducted couple of points from Wlad early on the fight would have been more competitive.

Ahhh so povetkin can suddenly reverse a 119-104 loss? That's hilarious

I've never seen so many people make excuses for a fighter who got the bag beaten out of him 119-104.

No, Pov would still miss with lunging shots, and eat left hooks.

Like Jennings said, he had more openings and landed more when Wlad clinched.

Except that you actually need a belt for unification, no?
