Adams scores an immediate knockdown on a hook, semi-push. Thompson fine, just got bowled over cold. 1-2 by Thompson, creating space. Adams is darting in and showing a high jab, hooking the ribs and chest. Slashing uppercuts and line drives by Adams working his way inside, guard up, deflecting Thompson's jabs from above. Thompson ducking and turning Adams with his right glove placed on his backside.

Round 2

Adams is rushing in on Thompson and throwing left hooks and high clapping rights. Thompson is reaching in with a long jab and planting his lead foot to drill home with a right cross. Thompson is pushing into Adams' chin with the long jab, nudging him into retreat. High right hand by Adams, getting a bit wild. Slashing hooks at the body from Adams, swiveling above the waist and leaving his face exposed. Thompson catches Adams with a counter hook while stepping back into the ropes and ROCKS him onto his knees with a follow-up combination! Adams is up but shaky. Wild exchange, Adams tries clinching after slamming his arms into Thompson's body in a hooking motion. Triple hook by Thompson, right hand as he is pinned on the ropes, Adams down again! He is out but the ref lets him go on. No legs. Thompson whips him with heavy looping rights on the head. Adams slumps on the ropes and is stopped.
