Defector Girl Boxer. http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=539150 If you meant Tseevenpurev, however - yes, theoretically, if Fearon lands him a worthwhile contest. On a 2-year layoff but AFAIK he is yet to officially retire.
If he lose the hometown decision it'll be 1 US - 1 UK as Dirrell was robbed of a win to Froch earlier in his career in the UK. Karma.
:blood It won't be home advantage whatsoever. He isn't especially popular in the States, outside Michigan. Plus, if anything, Dirrell is more the one to be subjected to scorn from the crusty white racist elements around here (the kinds who chanted the N word at PK Subban in the Bruins vs. Habs games) - since he is more of a brash, flamboyant uppity type of black man. Chunky is more of an Oreo.
Stay the course, young padawan. Time not yet to boast. Your contributions still make up less than 2.8% of a single percentage-point of the forum's content. I, alone, have 1.35112043649138% of this forum's posts. EVER. Like, since the crash in summer '04 that wiped all previous forum data. For perspective: the state of Arkansas makes up a very similar percentage (1.39724119810825%) of the United States of America's total contiguous land mass. :blood Of course that doesn't take into account deleted threads (or the entire deleted sub-forum of the Lounge), but still. The next biggest % is taken up by Flea Man, generating 0.39445156674239% of the forum's content. A third of a percent. Nearly an entire percentage-point less than me. Maybe someday, you will slay the master and coronate yourself "biggest no-life-having boxing nerd in the universe" - but that day is on the distant skyline.
I think this fight looks more and more like his Brothers last fight with Jacks I don't think Dirrell can handle this if DeGale starts to grind him down mid rounds:deal
I think DeGale has all the right tools needed to shut down the speedy athleticism of Dirrell. I'm not exactly "floored" by him dominating J'Leon Love in sparring, either. DeGale >>> Love.
EARLY FIGHT CARD THANK JEBUS. Was scared it would be an early morning one with it being in the US. I expect slow pace and boring fight from Dirrell Degale honestly...
Agree with more impressive athlete but DeGale's more skilled IMO. Dirrell relies too much on his natural gifts for my tastes, and hasn't really worked to improve his technique since hitting the big time in the S6. DeGale meanwhile has been on a steep upward trajectory since the loss to Groves.
