I favour Degale to beat Dirrell

I dont think it will be an exciting fight and think it could be very negative with alot of feinting and pausing and both not sure to commit for fear of looking bad if caught by counters.
I think Degale will do that bit more to win.

I think Dirrell came across nervous at the weigh in. Maybe it will take him a few rounds to get going, but I think Degale will handle nerves as an Olympic champ

It's pretty much a case of who will do THAT BIT MORE to win each round..

agree with everything you say...pretty much. Although I'm not picking a winner...too close to call.

I think its close to call, but also one where if one of them runs away with it, we would all say we're not surprised if you know what I mean?

I think it will be a could go either way kinda fight, wich almost always goes to the home fighter.

Though i don't like either, I guess as a Brit I'd have to favour DeGale :D

Me too, unless he gets robbed.

Then George Groves will KO Jack.

Those two will compete for the lineal/ Ring title.

Callum Smith & Rocky Fielding will be next in line for shots.

The UK dominance of the 168 division continues.

Ward has that division on lockdown. It's irrefutable.

UK is behind him at 168. :rofl

Well if we are talking about fighters that haven't fought in years at the weight then Calzaghe is actually number 1. :hi:

    This ^
Though if Dirrell is still the fighter who beat Froch (and let's be honest here, he did) then he outpoints Degale. But Dirrell has a bird brain, and a fragile one at that, so you can never be sure who's going to show up in the ring. If he gets clipped and panics it could be all Degale, even though I think it's Dirrell's fight to lose.

50/50 competitive match-up. Either guy can win.

Thats what you like to see in the sport.

Degale should stick it on Dirrell to take the early rounds, then in the later rounds make Dirrell come to him as he's not as good coming forward.
