Who cares, Floyd won. They got my $100, they wont get it again if they rematch. If they rematch and Manny wins, I will eagerly anticipate the replay on regular HBO.

Otherwise ICGAF. All the stuff about shoulders, or Floyds weight is meaningless. Floyd won. I don't care what else he does, unless he rematches Canelo at full 154 or fights GGG. He is the best WW, if he tries to prove more I will pay if he doesn't I wont.

Same for Manny at this point. I might pay to see him fight Brook, or Crawford... otherwise, nope don't really care.

Time to get over it and move on.

Pac was trying to cheat plain and simple. He can't use his inability to read as an excuse. Koncz filled it out and didn't fill in the "If yes, explain" so don't say he made a mistake by checking no instead of yes. He's filled that form out for Pac MANY times.

Quit :|:|:|:|:| already. Bumquiao was schooled.

Well he never had the opportunity to face a murderer's row of fighters because they didn't exist during his career. The only guys he wasn't able to fight between 130-154 weren't HOF/world beaters (i.e. Margarito, Williams.) so I don't know how much they would've added to his legacy had he fought and beaten the few guys he supposedly "ducked."

I rate him very highly because of how great of a fighter he looked in his prime- pretty much from the tail end of his 130 lb reign up to 140 lbs- and the fact that he's been so dominant into his late 30's while he campaigns in his 4th and 5th weight classes.

He doesn't fight at all like the old Pretty boy used to back between SFW and JWW, rather he's adjusted his style to allow him to have this incredibly long reign.

I always thought he was a top 40-50 fighter, but what he's done since turning 30 years old is mind boggling to say the least. He's beaten many HOF bound fighters since turning 30 and he's disposed of his opposition with relative ease for the most part.

I have in my top 20 of all time now. He has to be ranked worst case alongside guys like Pea Whitaker. His length of reign has put him in uncharted waters, and he deserves the accolades that come with that. If he ends up winning the lineal MW title and is able to go 50-0 by next spring, than I think you can really make a strong case for him being inside the top 15 fighters ever. His current style might not be the most crowd pleasing to watch, but it's really dam effective and this past prime version of Mayweather is still good enough to beat pretty much everyone from 140-154 as he closes in on 40.

Saying he's not worthy of a top 20 ranking is getting a little old now. We're talking about a guy whose been universally ranked as a P4P top 10 fighter for 3 decades now and has been universally regarded as the best boxer in the world for about a decade.

Like I mentioned before, his style now isn't great to watch for people that love knockouts. But his length of dominance can't be argued, and it starts becoming evident how great of a fighter he is when you recognize he's been fighting close to 10 years now past his prime in weight classes he probably has no business campaigning in.

He was a sure fire first ballot HOF'er by the time he went up and beat Gatti at JWW in 2005. Everything he's done for the last 10 years- including beating around 7 or 8 HOF fighters in that 10 year span- can't be minimized.

there are fighters who might've looked better in their absolute prime compared to Floyd (not many IMO,) but his length of reign is what sets him apart from a lot of other ATG's.

It's not about his undefeated record, it's about the fact he's pretty much dominated everyone in his entire career that spans 3 decades now. His resume is really starting to match up with some of the greatest of the greats.

I guarantee that no one passing comment in this thread has enough in depth knowledge of the greatest 100 boxers who ever lived to know exactly where Mayweather belongs on the list.

To be honest, splitting hairs between the best ever 20 fighters of all time isn't something anyone can actually do.

Fair to say he belongs in that argument of the Top 10-20 of all time.

Initially, Pac fans were a bit in disarray, putting up excuses and jumping on the slow motion bandwagon but now? Man, F l o m o s are out of control. They have become aggressive little trolls, name calling, acting tough/gangsta and spewing so much nonsense. I think they are even more unhappy than Pac fans. They know the fight was close; they cringe at the thought that Pac was possibly injured and kept in close; they know slow motion and post fight ****ysis proves Floyd didn't even outland Pacquiao and they are hating every bit of all of this.

relax you little angry trolls, Floyd won. Also, if you want the talk to stop, stop creating threads on the topic, how silly can you be. Get your acts together.

He's top 15 for sure. My problem with Floyd hasn't been his lack of skills, he has plenty of skills. My problem with Floyd is that i believe he has gotten away with a style that should not be rewarded as much as it is. Fighting this defensively, making fights so boring and trying to win fights by barely doing any damage, if at all...has less weight, IMO, that going out there are actually fighting.

Floyd's 3 biggest fights have been vs DLH, Canelo and Pacquiao. 3 f snoozefests. A past his prime DLH almost beat him; i wonder, could've Floyd even beatean a prime DLH? good question no? He did little in that fight and never hurt DLH

Against Canelo, he was good but did as little as possible

Against Pac, arguably one of his less impressive wins to date. He did absolutkey nothing in that fight. He got credited with punches that didn't land, landed at most, 3-4 solid punches all fight and won rounds which were highly questionable. He made the fight a snooze fest by running, being super defensive and winning by barely landing shots, just a lot of taps and touches.

So my beef with him is that he doesn't quite use the full ****nal of his skill set because he can get away by winning like this. I don't blame him, i blame judging. I wish judges would penalize him like they penalized DLH in his fight vs trinidad, where DLH ran for last few rounds. This would make floyd fight, knowing rounds where he runs and is barely active would go to opponent. I absolutely hate how he can get away with this running, tapping stuff... He should be attacking more, throwing more combinations and looking to hurt opponent, seldom so we see any of it now. He knows that the less action, the better his chances but judges should score in a way that rewards action!
