It would be good. but Froch is getting older and in my opinion past best for years now, even when having good results. As for Ward he has yet to beat a top undefeated prime SMW, so I dont think it would get Degale right up there, but would definately get him rated alot higher

He's he underdog but I would actually give him a reasonable chance against either man. Roughly a 50% chance against Froch and 40% against Ward.

 

What about Paul Smith beating Andre Ward at light heavyweight?

 

There's no way Chunky beats Ward.

 

For Degale to have a 40% chance of beating Ward, Andre will have had to have slipped markedly. It's a shame the Smith fight is highly unlikely to tell us whether he has or not.

Isnt ward a lhw now if he fights much? I think ward may have declined with his lack of activity and i dont think he is 100% in to boxing anymore
