floyd is not an excellent defensive genius that pac fought for the first time in his career. no matter what pac does if floyd employs his defensive genius and avoid a fight, there will be no fight. a fight is only made when both players are willing and intent to engage. it's still up to floyd if he wants to make a fight considering he is a fast defensive boxer. pac is not an exceptional offensive fighter to trump that exceptional defense. boxing is about fighting to inflict damage, dominate, conquer, and employ defense to limit injury and preserve the body for longevity and for another war. the judges will decide or floyd will maintain what he is doing and establish a bad precedent in the game.

A ton of people think it was close actually and even some pro boxers thought manny won.

Proof though is Floyds own dad, everything he was saying in the corner displayed what was really going on, he knew the fight was close, that's why he was ragging on Floyd and asking if he's scared, and asking what's wrong with him countless times. You don't say this to a guy who's dominating! LOL If this isn't proof enough for your flom o's you're simply helpless. You can continue to believe in a fraud and ignore the proof that is right under your noses.

What are you talking about? There was a plethora of amazing boxers he somehow missed fighting earlier in his career, or waited them out.

This video is very good and this guy knows his history. Floyd ducked a ton of guys.

Floyd, top 50, no way in top 20. How can you be in top 20 making a career of beating 98% bums.

    He'll never be top 10.

He has the skill, but the resume isn't nearly good enough. He spent the last decade hand picking and to be honest there haven't been a great deal of talented fighters at 147. His resume is decent...but not for a top 10 all time.

The biggest names on his resume were past prime when he fought them. Not saying it was all his fault but these are the facts.

He ranks high, but not top 10-15

Prime oscar, whitaker, mosley, trinidad would all pose major problems for Floyd. Oscar won 4 rounds minimum and was washed up and much much slower than his prime and lost his pop as Roach said following that fight. Prime oscar was almost as fast as Floyd when he really opened up, and could box extremely well and was a better amateur than floyd. Amateur is where you learn how to win on points, prime oscar could have easily won atleast 2-3 more rounds than the washed up version did. His jab and hook was second to none. People like to say he gasses, but only ever gassed vs Trinidad. He was known during his prime for closing the show, taking a couple guys out in the championship rounds back then. I think prime Oscar could very well KO floyd. That version of Oscar is a whole different animal from anything Floyd's ever seen. As well were the other 3 I mentioned during their primes. Difference with them, they fought each other and had other tough fights vs elite fighters.
Hell, even Vernon Forrest would give Floyd fits with his reach and speed.

If i put Floyd in Hearns-Duran-Leonard-Hagler era, he loses to Hearns (too much length and skill), loses to sugar Ray Leonard (too fast, too busy), beats Duran in a tough fight and beats Hagler, in a tough fight.

I doubt he could beat Leonard or Hearns. Past his prime DLH gave Floyd problems with his reach and jab, imagine Hearns? Hearns had freakish length for a welter/MW and loads of power and skill. He was outboxing Sugar Ray Leonard until SRL TKO'd him in 14th round. SRL was as fast as Floyd but way more busier and went for knock outs. I see SRL being too much for Floyd.

People amaze me when they talk about if a prime Oscar or Mosley fought Floyd. Floyd wasn't prime when he fought them. Plus put the Floyd who fought Gatti or Corrales against Prime Oscar and Floyd would dominate him especially with Oscar's lack of a right hand. Mosley would always lose to Mayweather and on top of that those two had a chance to fight Floyd in their prime and they didn't bc he was high risk low reward.

Easy work, I had the fight 7-5 watching it live then 8-4 after watching it again. They fought Floyds fight, pac tried hard came up short nothing wrong with that but he was supposed to give Mayweather a fight I wanted him to make Mayweather fight that didn't happen I think it was a good fight but looking back on it Floyd dominated him. If they fight again it's going to be even easier because now he knows what packs going to do Floyd can change Pacquiao cant if they fight again it's going to be even easier because now he knows what packs going to do Floyd can change pac can't.

Floyd won easily lol. If you think Floyd won easily you need to watch the fight again without sleeping because that was no easy win for Floyd. Floyd only won because it's Vegas and it's Floyd, PAC got the harder and more effective shots in and made Floyd ran faster than Usian Bolt.

I think a top 10 ATG place for Mayweather resides in a MW Title. The Cotto-Canelo winner would be the best option, GGG might fight Froch & a bout between PBF-GGG would be at 54 anyway.

Mayweather could arguably be in the top 25 or so of all time right now. His level if dominance over THE MOST WORLD CHAMPIONS OF ALL TIME, think about that people complain about his # of fights but he's beaten the most legitimate title holders ever.

Beaten multiple #1 rated fighter's in 4/5 divisions on his way to being tied for most Lineal Titles All Time.

Half these guys people say Mayweather fought to late are on RECORD saying they waited for the right time to fight Floyd not the other way around.
If Mayweather wins a Real MW title I wouldn't argue if you had him top 10
