I really enjoyed James Helders interviews covering the James DeGale fight. Is James style of letting the person being interviewed talk rather than Kugans habit of talking about himself better ?
I like James but I enjoy Kugan's interviews more. Kugan has a better bond with a lot of fighters/promoters and asks the better questions. James tends to ask very similar questions just slightly reworded which leads to fighters repeating themselves.
This. James actually INTERVIEWS the guys, not just talk rubbish and not do his job. "Koogs" is a donut. Seem's slow, gets way too "matey" with the lads and he does stuff like FORTY MINUTE LONG interviews and they go nowhere. James asks them what needs to be asked, say's his goodbyes, job done. Kugan is very irritating. Just like that bell-end Solaris.
Kugan is much better. You feel like he actually has a bond with the other person, it is much more entertaining with him, James has good content but it lacks entertainment value in my opinion.
:good So true. Kugan is actually scared whether to press Eddie or not on questions that if he didn't have a bond with him, he'd ask.
They're both different. In the beginning they were both very amateurish understandably, but Kugan developed his style quicker/easier. James has improved as well though. Overall, what they've given us the fans over the years is great, imagine them not being around doing what they do! ****ing nightmare.
I don't mind either of them. James is a bit wooden and doesn't have the same banter, although at times that can be a bit distracting with Kuggan.
I like both of them. The only thing which gets on my tits is the "Good Sir" and "My Good Man" **** JH comes out with on the BN show when he's talking to Kugan.
