Too many tainted wins to get that recognition. Never beat a prime ATG, although he had the opportunity to do so. A lot of his big fights were carefully timed - Mosley, Pacquiao, Cotto, etc. He had the opportunity to fight two of those guys when they were at their absolute best and didn't do it.
Imagine if Leonard waited 5-6 years to fight Duran & Hearns, after they'd been KO'd . Where would his historical standing be then ?

His longevity and undefeated record are his high marks. His resume looks great on paper but too much careful matchmaking holds him back.

 

I was laughed at when I said it would be one of Floyd's easiest fights. Haven't heard sh*t from those same people since. They'll never live down this defeat. I'm sure some of them still have trouble sleeping at night.

 

If it's one of Floyd's easiest fights it was one of Pacquiao's , because he barely looked marked after the fight. It was Pacquiao who landed the best blows of the fight. Floyd took the most damage. Yeah Floyd threw just enough pitty pat jabs and glancing right hands to nab most of the rounds , but it's not like he put a clinic on Pacquiao.

 

Man shut up,it was almost a shut out, all you years of trolling are over and were all for nothing...

It was a crystal clear one sided fight,Floyd stopped Manny in his tracks all through the fight and made him look stupid and limited

 

I love seeing PAC fans lose their minds. They have even convinced themselves that Manny won some how.
