lol sure it was. Floyd was the one doing a little dance twice in the fight. Floyd took the hardest punches. At least half the rounds won by Floyd were won by a few jabs or a glancing right hand or two. Like I said if that's your definition of schooling / clinic then to each his own.

I think that Mayweather could easily fight up to his competition. If he were thrown into that Leonard, Hearns, Duran, and Benetez era, he would have stepped up. He beat every relevant champion in his era and you can't take that away from him. People say he picked his opponents strategically, every fighter does that but in the final ****ysis he still had to fight the fight and win the fight. Leonard waited on Hagler and some say he ducked Pryor and even ducked Duran for a while. Who knows who was ducked and what fighters were bums back in days of Louis and Marciano, and Greb and Dempsey. How many bums did Robinson fight? You can't judge Mayweather by those days because they were not his days. He has to judged by his body of work today and I say that he stands shoulder to shoulder with any great that ever lived.
