Give Al Haymon his credit!!!!

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Apocolypse313, May 24, 2015.

  1. He is putting his fighters in with the best that he can and keeping them busy and active as hell. If he wanted too , he could rig every fight for his fighters but he let's them fight their fights win or lose.
He doesn't pay off judges like Oscar De La Hoya for obviously bias scores like : C.J. Ross 114-114 or Levi Martinez 117-111 for Canelo.
He doesn't make up excuses like Bob Arum does for his marquee fighter like, "HE HAD THE INJURY SINCE 2008"(back when he was knocking guys out left and right) and him claiming that the officials were corrupt against Pacquiao in the Bradley 1 fight. How can the officials be corrupt for your fighter against your fighter?
Haymon does what he is suppose to do, stay in the background, pay his fighters well and put on great fights. All last year you complained and beotched about his match ups. 2015 is on point and he deserves credit from ESB because it's due.:deal

  2. Broner vs Porter
    Garcia vs Peterson
    Mayweather vs Pacquiao
Thurman vs Guerrero(who ducked him for 2 years)
    Spence vs Garcia(tough fight)
Arreola vs Harper( That was a slug fest)
    Kameda vs McDonnell

I'm just mentioning the good fights period win or lose.

Al Haymon is the hero boxing deserves! He's not afraid of his fighters losing. He does what's best for boxing.

That should be the norm. Bring back old school boxing. Tired of seeing guys like Chavez Jr and Canelo have huge weight advantage fight night.

PBC has potential, but we need more shows and improved presentation.

  8. Yep. Bob Arum let Chavez Jr. do what the hell he wanted to do just to milk his daddies name for $$$. Broner is a 140 fighter fighting a guy who comes in at 168-170 fight night.

They don't like to see Haymon on top...
I like it when they stay mad, though.

All good fights and only one was a title fight. The fact is that Haymon put on good fights and he is earning all the credit for his work. Even Lampley called him a genius. WTF:lol:

I expected him to put on a complete ****show with an F for effort. I've been pleasantly surprised by the C+ to B- fair that's been offered. He'd need the real marquee names and title unifications to get an A though. So far, this year HBO is still doing much better B+ to A- territory.
