Other than Andy Lee there isn't a single Irish boxer at world level. Why do Ireland consistently fail to produce top class talent?

It concerns me as they keep trying to steal British boxers and claim them as their own. Macklin for example.

Well Andy Lee was born in the UK too. They do have some good fighters but maybe they should produce more world class fighters.

At least Irish boxers are clean. Not low-life drug cheats.

Your boxers are likely as clean as Michelle Smith was.

Len, did you vote for or against gay marriage?

Who is the low life drug cheat you are speaking about mate?

The Irish have some top World class amateurs and I'm sure that they will become top class pro's. Southern Ireland has a population of less than 5 million I think and that means there is more people in London than the whole of Southern Ireland so it will obviously be harder to have the amount of world class talent of England.

Myself i support all of the British and Irish boxers!!

Ireland have produced some good boxer's over the years. They have a relatively small population so it is understandable that they won't always have world champion level fighters at all times and in all eras.

For such a small country they do not to badly imo in terms of producing talent , much the same as scotland , Bearing in mind there a postage stamp in terms of size compared to England , Cant believe youve mentioned Andy lee without mentioning Frampton unless youre angling about Irish divide

Think we both know you at the wind up with this and he is infact Irish firstly and yes British , the same as Calzaghe was Welsh and Burns Scottish , all british but proud of there own country first and if you asked any of the 3 youd get the same answer from each , Irish Welsh and Scottish

Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland are not the same place. You do realise this?
