Being a titlist gives him a unique opportunity to DUCK mandatory's by fighting in unification's.

That said, Wilder is saying he's looking forward to his fight with Sasha, and Team Povetkin has agreed to come to the States, where they KNOW that USADA testing will likely be implemented and Sasha can maintain a 5.9-1 TIE ratio and bang that nandrolone like junky does the dogfood.

However, a unification fight with Pianeta(who will surely outbox Ruslan) would take precedence for both fighters, Pianeta allowed to again back off the Browne fight, and Wilder the Potvetkin fight.

Forcing both thier mandates to look elsewhere for entertainment and potentially be leapfrogged by other, ie Parker, Joshua, and even someone like Fedosov, who appears a win away from a title fight.

FTR...Fedosov beats Browne 116-112 all day.

Now, if both Wilder and Pianeta would be more interested in maximizing their revenue streams, they'd make the unification fight, which would be much more even for them, and could generate decent $$$ here in the States, and the winner could further avoid Browne/Potvetkin by taking a voluntary or signing to unify with Wladimir. :good:good:good

That wouldn't be a unification fight. The WBA 'regular' belt would just become vacant.

Potvetkin, ROIDED to the gills, would detonate a nuclear missile onto Wilder's paper mache chin.

No chance in hell Wilder beats Povetkin.:nono

    NOT TRUE.

    Are you dense?

How did Froch and Kessler2 become a unification fight???

Froch beat Bute for the IBF title.
Kessler beat Magee for the WBA regular belt which was later defended by Froch against Groves X 2.

    Yes, you ARE dense.:yep

    Why would he????

He can postpone it long enough for either Potvektin to get busted for the roids he's on, or for him to lose to someone like Parker.

He can steer clear from that fight he's got ZERO chance of winning, particularly without additional testing.:patsch

I don't wanna see Wilder sparked, UNFAIRLY mind you, in his first legit title defense.

He's young and can get better.....that said, going the route I suggest, gives him a longer title run, more experience, a far better resume, and perhaps a more level playing field vs Roidvetkin, and definitely against Dr Dinosaur Klitschko.:good

The only 2 ppl I'd be happy to see Wilder sparked by are both named Klitschko.

But Wlad's age is not helping him in his cause, and Vitali, even older, has his heart on the Ukraine.

So if my favorite fighters arent gonna spark him, I'd rather see Wilder be successful, and taking on a roided to the gills Potvetkin ends his success, likely in a rd or 2. :think

Povetkin. Lots of money due to Povetkin's backer and it's a perfectly winnable fight for the Bronze Bomber.

Winnable? The Bronze Bomber will leave the ring on a stretcher :good

Povetkin just cracked three iron chins. Charr, Takam, Perez. Wilders chin is made of glass. It will shatter all over the boxing ring in Moscow.
