    Froch is overrated.
    But then so was Calzaghe.

They certainly wouldn't make the top 20 British list all-time.

They are fortunate to have fought in the era of unparalleled hype and marketing on SKY PPV.
And in a very overrated weight class.

But but Calzaghe has a record number of defense, i mean theres Veit, Pudwill, Reid and Saibot oh and Evans Ashira

Froch is not overrated, he is what he is, an iron chinned warrior who fights everyone win or lose.

Hes like a small, white, less religious, less skilled, ****ier Holyfield

You need to rewatch the first 2 rds of Joe vs Eubank.

I've never seen someone able to solve the lefty inside game of Calzaghe.

Woodhall was the weakest of the fighters i noted, but again hes performed better a t world level than Groves.

And whilst Brewer was never elite, even though he had 8 losses therefore hes not world level:huh

Well Groves is 0-2 at world level so........

Mitchell was coming off a points loss to Ottke but look at the fashion in which Calzaghe disposed of Mitchell.

Calzaghe's entire career is based on mistakes.

Groves' performance in the first fight against Froch and his win against DeGale both completely bury Woodhall and his entire career.

Brewer is a good fighter but we can't overlook the fact that he was coming off a loss to Echols and Ottke when he went on to face Calzaghe. How he got this title shot is the real question worth asking. Mitchell is also good fighter, definitely not denying that and he was a former Champion too, which is no joke. Still though, he was also coming off a loss yet got a title shot against Calzaghe.

Groves' win over DeGale, whether green or not, was a world level fight. Both decided to take the risk/step up against each other and the result was obvious. Green fighters can have world level fights if they decide to take it. It's a risky move but has been done many times before.

hoho they were very intentional mistakes, ducking the tough fights for another easy one for 10 years in a row.

because joe doesn't want tough fights. but who said that...why, joe calzaghe direct quote. he said it, he did it. His fans deny it. Joe turns his fans into liars.

sure they were but there was time enough to defendthe major smw titles too, but joe always opted not to.

    based on what? beating weaklings.

you are missing the word "wouldda" in your predicions. All good calzaghe fans use that word, make sure you do too. because it certainly didn't happen.

it was DIRECTLY DUE TO JOES ACTIONS HA!
Joe had ducked kessler for ages until the injury came about. Then he was suddenly all for it.
But well done to joe for beating Kessler, it was one of joes 3 actual world class defences.

    another woudldda comment, that's better.

woodhall had a crippled back when he fought joe, and was about to retire due to it. he just took the pay cheque as a retirement fund by getting in the ring with joe.

wassen picked woodhall because he was crippled and retiring at that stage.

    WTF ?

Kessler bruised his right in training.
Or are you saying it ocurred in Kessler previous bout, and didn't heal for 8 months ??

    There's no evidence of that.

WBO belt was recognized before 2006. Where did you get 2006?

Regardless, he became undisputed SMW champ. Becoming Undisputed is very rare now a days.

    Give the guy some credit.

naa joe was ready to jack out of the fight as he had already done and had a proven track record for doing. But when Kessler got injured he was all up for it.
