Is Kell Brook the only #1 rated boxer in his division tha fights guys who arent top10

What big fish, Gavin or JoJo Dan or JoJo's brother. It definitely is not Rios. Brook is not a big money fighter, you hallucinating. He don't bring nothing to the table for Pac or JMM. He don't even bring enough to the table for Khan to fight him. He needs to build up his persona with fights against real competition like Thurman and Maidana. Right now, people see him as an average fighter who happens to have a title. His resume sucks. The man Maidana lost to twice qualifies him to fight Brook anyday and as lax as the rules are in boxing today, there won't be any problems. It would be seen as a great step up for Brook.

 

OK, fair enough, I'll give him a pass. Again!

I'm just frustrated with Brook. It took so long for him to get to the top and now he's there he still seems to be going nowhere.

I rate Brook, he's a good boxer; I just want to see him in some good, competitive match ups. It's a stacked divison. there are some great fights out there.

Hopefully he'll get someone decent before the year is out.

 

You are still avoiding the question. Why, if Thurman is so desperate to fight Brook he's calling him out left and right, has he never ever ever made an offer....yet makes offers to Luis Collozo? :think

 

No. FMJ fights guys like Maidana, he isnt a top 10 welter.

 

Well the aim is Pacquiao or Khan, and there was a reason why he didn't get to the top fast- most of the top welters are with Haymon/ Arum/ De La Hoya...in fact Brook is the only good one I can think of is not.

Despite trolls on this thread saying he was a bum, everyone in boxing knew he was good and the risk/ reward wasn't there, now he's the champ and getting manado's out of the way to make sure he keeps that title and can get these big fights

 

Brook got caller ID and certain calls , he just don't answer. Especially those that come with an asswhooping.

Do you mean flak? When you cut someone some slack it means you make allowances for them which seems to be the opposite of what the rest of your post is suggesting.

 

Naw, you just don't have a legitimate response, Brook was contacted and he don't want that fight. I can understand it, don't mean I have to accept it. You can talk till your tongue swell up and bust but I am not about sit here and let you build him up to be a superstar when he's not. He's a good fighter and that's it. He might be called special K but he don't deserve any special treatment. If he wants to be considered great, he has to put in great work and accept the great challenges in front of him.
