    I love the idea.

    The idea of these new belts might make the old ABC belts obsolete. :yep

    Soon, every boxer will be talking about the PBC Belt. :nod

    Maybe, the likelier scenario is that it will create just more BS though.

    More belts and consolidation of power to one stable whilst the rest crumble, sounds like just what boxing doesn't need as much as Haymon is good for the sport in terms of putting on big shows and looking after his fighters. Either just sign every damn fighter over to him so there's no excuse or I'd rather old Bob get on the warpath and fling some dough at fighters so he can stop recycling or De La Hoya make a twelfth round KO and somehow sign a third of his ex-golden boy's back. Triple threat... Jay Z is entering the fray now with two big signings which is interesting... Haymon has enough fighters to work with and create interesting options, he likes soft touches but does deliver big challenges down the line. But TR seems a dead duck apart from Crawford's star rising... ****ing Vargas vs Bradley for instance and who the hell does Pacquiao fight next? I know Khan will push for a fight but other than that? Rematches or Provodnikov or Crawford too soon lol, nobody else left.

    Of course exceptions can be made but for the most part

    Pbc= quantity

    Hbo= quality

    PBC - its unfortunate.

    Haymon putting Broner-Porter (a great fight) in Vegas..... tell you all you need to know. Its sad.

    Since PBC is putting on a lot of fights, law of averages dictates some will be good. But from a business and entertainment angle.. it feels pretty bland, and they are focusing on casinos not building boxing fans among the general public which is unfortunate.

    It is another belt that will largely be fought for by a small demographic - Haymon fighters.

    I can't see how more of the same doesn't do anything but dilute boxing more.

    Speaking of Haymon and PBC, who does Haymon have as his matchmakers? It will be interesting to see how PBC develops new talent. Do they have the expertise to develop a fighters career from the off?
