I wish I could sit down with Pacquiao and watch the fight round-by-round and have him explain to me in depth how he scored 115-113 towards himself.

The fight definitely wasn't 10-2, but Mayweather won. It was a great, competitive boxing match.

watch that fight again. how can someone who runs and potshots all night win the fight? pac was chasing him and countering back with 2 or three punches at a time. many of floyds punches which were one punch at a time missed their mark. pac also blocked many of his potshots with his gloves. roachs game plan worked. let floyd potshot then counter back with 2 or 3 punches. hes not 8 time trainer of the year for nothing.

Pacquiao's defense was on great display as was Mayweather's. Manny did some brilliant counters that I've never seen used on Floyd. Like I said, it was a great boxing match. However, we all know that Mayweather will always win a boxing match. It hard to be an effective aggressor all the time when your opponent is already moving a lot let alone the best defensive fighter.

I thought Roach's game-plan was incredibly stupid. For one, he let Pac come in at 152 pounds. That hurt him terribly right there because now Pac is too heavy and Mayweather has the foot speed advantage. This is one of my biggest "WTF" moments of the fight.

Next, Roach should've let Pacquiao BE Pacquiao. I think Roach may have overthought things. He had Pacquiao focusing too much on counters which took away from him fighting on instinct. Pacquiao fights best when he fights on instinct, not intellect. He fought on intellect against Floyd. I mean, it was amazing he was able to hold his own fighting that way, but his best chance at winning was resorting back to the instinctual fighter of Cotto, Margarito, etc.

Also, when the judges, commentators, world is expecting you to make a fight, endless attack, recklessness, many punches, and you BOX...it appears like Mayweather has completely took you off your game, not that Pacquiao went in wanting to counter and play the patience game. So, that gives Mayweather another huge advantage. (and Mayweather could have very well just nullified him)

Then again, Pacquiao said he was just searching for the one punch KO past the 4th round which could explain why he seemed to just be waiting for that perfect set-up and long lapses of inactivity. Perhaps we didn't see Roach's game-plan fully. Doesn't matter though. Shoulda, woulda, coulda.
