Simple boxrec check shows you who GGG has beaten. Whether you are impressed by the lot or not, your educated boxing eyes should tell you GGG is a force to be reckoned with and is a threat to anyone around 154-168.

Froch is an elite pound for pound bad ass. He's beaten nearly everyone that matters. Only Andre Ward has beaten him clearly and that's nothing to be down about.

No way Froch gets embarassed by Golovkin, I agree. It will most likely be an epic war but let's not hold GGG's resume against him. He wants all the big names to prove himself as an elite boxer, like Froch was able to do. Froch is at the top of list.

Definitely. Especially Carl who some seem to regard as little more that a crude slugger in the Margarito mould

And anyone who underrates GGGs skills DKSAB, its that plain and simple

    Exactly.

Carl can beat you in many different ways. He is no limited brawler, like Margarito.

GGG and Froch are both elite top 10 pound for pound guys. It's a dream match up. The type that the hardcore heads like all of us should be telling mainstream sports fans to watch with us. It's the type of fight that the May-Pac non-event should have been.

I'm a big GGG fan but I'm leaning towards Froch but only slightly so, I'm pretty much on the fence.

    I hope I'm wrong.

Froch by easy beatdown. TKO stoppage. GGG's corner throws in the towel.

It's a 50/50 fight and our poll, showing 53% - 47% in favor of GGG is illustrating that. I would be shocked if either destroyed the other quickly. So many questions to be answered.

Froch by KO or potentially a British Stoppage. The Cobra is far too rangy, far too big, and hits far too hard for a MW even if it is GGG to beat.

GGG has got an iron mandible though it seems.

I always see a lot of comparisons to Abraham when discussing how GGG's power will carry (which Abe's didn't) but his iron chin did.

GGG will choke as soon as he feels the shots connect to his chin, we have seen no evidence that suggests that his chin is so strong or strong enough to take Carl's shots. GGG has no defense, so as i said in a previous post, it will come down to who can take the center of the ring. Froch had problems with slick movers and if GGG stands there like he usually do, i might wanna say that we have another Bute in the making. GGG's power and speed will diminish at least a little bit when he moves up.

We have no evidence to suggest he has a shaky chin. I'd say over 300 fights as an amateur and a pro and never being down is quite telling,

Abhraham uses his chin-down-gloves-up- eggshell defense to negate punches. GGG takes tons of punches at MW with his wide open style and at 168 they will be much harder. I wouldn't be surprised if Froch knocked him down 2-3 times.
