Should be Gavin vs. Algieri on the Khan vs. Brook undercard instead.

Give 'em about six years. They'll fight.

They'll be 37 and 34 respectively. Sounds about right, following the Mayweather/Pacquiao model. :D

Brook apparently offered Khan the fight, but Khan is playing it safe in the hopes of getting a Mayweather fight.

Brook then stepped in to a pre arranged card of his promoters on six weeks notice or so, when his promoter lost the purse bid for DeGale-Dirrell and therefore lost the main event for the card. There wasn't much choice of opponents so Gavin offered to step in.

Hopefully these two will get it on one day. Would be a great fight.

Khan was stupid not to take the fight. He is guaranteed a Mayweather fight as there are a good few options available for Khan, so taking out one of those options would have helped his cause a lot.

Boxing fans... still unaware that boxing is a paying career.

You all never seem to surprise me.

I wish Brook vs. Khan was happening, too, but I'd be stunned if it actually were happening. You fellas are just naive.

dont blame khan.....brook keeps fighting bums.....brook doesn't deserve the pay day.....if it was right after the porter fight then i would agree but then brook decided to continue fighting bums after that fight and it leaves a bad taste in your mouth......

Because Khan is looking for the Mayweather pay day and there is a good chance Brook KO's him. Common sense.

Yeah I will never understand that whole thing.

    1.4 M to fight Khan

    OR

1.3 M to fight Casamayor WITH guarantee of 6 M+ to fight Pacquiao

I think Pacquiao might be a slightly better fighter and tougher opponent than Khan, but hey, what do I know! Apparently most people think 1.4 M is more than 6+ M.
