Juan's been quite silent since his lopsided loss to Mayweather some years back. Why all of a sudden is he asking for a rematch.

Seriously what chances does he have against Mayweather?

He has zero chance and he can try to blame it on the fight being in Nevada all he wants. The fact is he couldn't beat Floyd on his best day no matter where they fight... Not in Nevada, not in Mexico City and not on the moon.

I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch. He'd do a little better than the first time I'm sure since now he has some welterweight experience. I still think he'd lose though...

    120-107

He can only improve on that, theoretically...

We have to remember JMM jumped 2 weight classes and fought at a weight he never had against a guy that didn't even come in at the correct weight.
Add to that you can see he didn't train, all watery and lethargic, that time he really was there for a pay cheque, this time, now he is used to that weight then I expect him to do a million times better but I don't think Floyd would fancy it now.

You're right, Vegas had nothing to do with it. It was a simple case of
Great little man losing to Great bigger man who had all the advantages
and still tried to get more by pulling some ****** weight move.

And in typical ***** fashion, Marquez was afraid of the rematch but
not he's just trying to cash out.

He said before the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight that he wants to fight the winner. It's obvious he wants to cash out, he's 41 and on the verge of retirement. This is the only fight that could make him serious money.

If Marquez was going to whine about the fight being at 147 rather than 144, he should not have signed the contract the week of the fight changing the official weight limit from 144 to 147. He chose to do so. Now he lives with the results.

If Marquez was going to whine about the fight being in Las Vegas, he should not have signed the contract for the fight to take place in Las Vegas. He chose to do so. Now he lives with the results.

Marquez is certainly one of the least graceful losers in recent memory... for every single one of his defeats, controversial or not.

If khan looses to algeri this is arguably makes the most sense for Floyd. Marquez has the name and he ko'd Pacquiao. Two hof fighters in a double retirement bout.

Who else can be right to justify a PPV?

Well technically Marquez is asking for the rematch not Mayweather...

The results of that fight didn't have **** to do with weight or venue. He was in there with a stylistic nightmare for him and just a far better boxer period.

Floyd had no problem hearing little Marquez when he called him out but seems to be having a hard time hearing GGG.
