The fact you mention Calzaghe in the same breath as the likes of Marciano, Mayweather, Finito and others in that league is toxic enough to have you executed.

This isn't a Pacquiao fan, it's a Calzaghe fan. The mental illness goes beyond comprehension with these drunkards. This guy is mentioning Calzaghe, who rolled on the floor in tears of disbelief for beating someone with 21 professional fights while he had 40, in the same breath as Marciano, Mayweather...etc. Even Calzaghe himself won't be deluded enough to say that.

Yeah manny really hurt Floyd's arms.
He beat him so bad his shoulder alarmed..oh oh wait no, he flurried and scurried along.
But he got it wrong. Floyd's rights might
Nip but if you land zip, your done.
Maybe he should've fought a blocker.
Manny lost again wow what a shocker

This is an example of people not understanding the injury or any injury for that matter.

I'll break it down real easy. He tore his shoulder in 2009 during a jet ski collision. He rested it. It got better. 2015, collides with sparring partner and re-injures it like he did in 2009. Now the tendon is back to being severely torn. For two weeks, rests as much as he can. It heals back to maybe 50%. Refused pain shot. In fight, 4th round it sounds like, completely tears tendon from bone. Pain gets exponentially worse. Ends up needing surgery to reattach tendon.

This is pretty significant, admit it or not. Mayweather only had to rest his rotator cuff tear for it to heal. Pacquiao's tendon completely detached from the bone and he needed surgery to fix his. We saw how much Mayweather's rotator cuff injury affected his performance against Castillo and his was only partially torn...imagine Pacquiao...

So, the injury doesn't exist then? The surgery was fake? Honestly, Pacquiao could've done ten cartwheels after the fight and it still wouldn't make a difference. It's a medical fact that he was injured before, during, and after the fight. It's a medical fact. It's in his medical records.

You don't understand the injury either. It's not as if his shoulder was dislocated. Kobe shot the ball and played out the game with a torn cuff. Mayweather fought 12 rounds, could use his jab, left hand with a torn cuff. It's just not as efficient, strong as needed.

"I couldn't use my jab like I wanted. My left hand wasn't as strong as it needed to be." -Mayweather on rotator cuff tear after controversial win against Castillo.

No one thought Floyd was injured until after the Castillo fight when he said it. The only thing we did know was that his performance was bad and he looked off. Same with Pacquiao. We didn't know he was injured, but we just knew he looked off and bad. Mayweather can empathize with Pac's injury probably more than anyone, but he won't. He wouldn't discredit his own win by accepting that truth.

And you can't tell me that Pacquiao threw a normal amount of right hands because he alone didn't throw a normal amount of punches.

Why are you so deeply moved with what I talk about?

Unless I'm personally affecting your life by who I concern myself with then I don't really think it is much of your concern. I do appreciate your constant interest with what I'm interested in, but it's really unnecessary.

Because if you're going to spend enough time on here to rack up 2.5k posts in five months, you should be talking about more than just two boxers. (or three, when you include Golovkin, though he accounts for what, 2% of your posts?)

...especially if you seriously plan on becoming a boxing journalist. Please for the love of the game, LEARN ABOUT BOXERS OTHER THAN whoever the 'big stars'/top earners/ones that get mentioned on ESPN are.

Boxing doesn't need any more half-ass journalists. We need more guys like Al Bernstein and Steve Farhood, that actually know the game inside and out, and follow every division, and the scene in every corner of the globe. Not just "who's popular in the US and on social media".
