And the clip you posted is not uploaded by a Tyson hater? The clip you posted does not show that the ref started the count in the Douglas knock down late. The clip i posted exposes the fact that the ref took 4-5 seconds before starting the count when douglas got knocked out. If you were to count at normal speed, it is clear douglas got a total of 13-14 seconds.

Ofcourse you will ignore the Botha ko because it exposes that the ref started the count against Douglas to slow.

It was shown right after the bout that this was a non issue.

Because he didn't. He started the count at exactly the same time as he started the Tyson count. When the fighter was down, and the other guy was in a neutral corner. Do you know ANYTHING about boxing?:patsch:patsch

The ref in the Botha fight is counting while he points Tyson towards the nuetral corner at the same time. His first shout is a "5" which you can hear which means he is not giving Botha any unfair advantage.

In the Douglas fight, he wasted 3-4 seconds before starting the count from 1 against Douglas giving him extra time to recover.

Unfortunately there was a lot of public and media pressure to not over turn the decision of the fight. Might be because of Tyson's negative image and his erratic behavior outside the ring. Over turning the decision was not going to be popular.

Don King and Tyson eventually conceeded because they knew it would do more damage than good.

Right but wrong. Don King along with Tysons camp tried to make it an issue. However critical look see of the film showed there was no issue.

Tyson didnt want to fight when he got out of prison he just wanted to screw women and play with tigers. You cant compare the Tyson that took tremendous beatings from Ruddock and Douglas to that pu**y that cried bit and quit in his comeback. When you dont want to get punched in the face its hard to win.

Tyson had a better chin than Lewis and Holyfield that's for sure. Lewis got one shot KO'd by McCall and Rahman both, wobbled several times by Vitali. You never saw Tyson get dropped by one punch. When he lost he had to be beat into the ground so hard that he couldnt get up by the time he fell. He had an iron chin if I've ever seen one.

Actually he did. Think about the punishment he took from Ruddock and Douglas. Holyfield was almost knocked out my Bert Cooper, hurt by Foreman dropped by Ruiz. hurt by Moorer, Bowe dropped by James Toney etc. Holyfield could get hurt, but he got up and fought on. Tyson we didnt really see how he handled extreme adversity until he was past his prime.

Tyson was hurt by Bruno early, stunned badly by Holyfield in the 2nd round of their first bout as well as being out on his feet in the 10th. KTFO by Douglas, Lewis and Williams.

    Wrong AGAIN.

The fight was rewatched, and it was accepted there was no refereeing issues, and Tyson was comprehensively beaten. Nothing to do with public images, or any other sh it. Guy was beaten up, humiliated, and stopped all WITHIN the rules.
