Why are Ireland incapable of producing world class talent?

Frampton cannot be British. He can only be Northern Irish or "Irish".

Northern Ireland is not a part of Britain. It is part of the United Kingdom. The UK is made up of Great Britain and Northern Ireland respectively.

A Northern Irishman can fight for the commonwealth title as a right, but for a British title on a technicality.

You have no idea what you're talking about. I'm from Northern Ireland and I'm British. We are eligible for both British and Irish passports. In all likelihood Frampton will see himself as being British and Irish but firstly Northern Irish. People here prefer to keep this **** out of sport.

I'm neither British nor Irish and I thought that was quite obvious by now. Just a bloke out of a country with little to no boxing history who follows boxers from all around the globe, wich includes the UK and ireland.

Brenny I've been to England loads of times and always felt welcome. Similarly at a few fights met loads of English over for various fights in Dublin and they love it and the rivalry simply doesn't exist. It's just the odd troll that is it. tiz all good :good
