Wait there, this guy is already surely nearly a millionaire and he says ''get close''? He must be spending it on constructing a colossal cage around his new pad, now it all makes sense :smoke

For real though - how funny was that ringside interview with Algieri's trainer - "watch he's about to be let out of the cage now, watch what happens.." Then as he was still talking .... BANG! Pac's most violent knockdown of all 6.. Hahaha

Considering this kid was only a part time fighter just over a year ago,he has done exceedingly well for himself. While clearly he has educational aspirations which is more important than his boxing career,Chris is just a clean cut dude with terrific athletic abilities and enough skills to be a former world champion.
We here in New York applaud Chris and hopes he batters the hell out of Con,but if he doesn't, knowing that his future is secure in another line of work due to his education, makes it a good story at the end of the day.:good

He spent all the Pacquiao money on skin products.

He is definitely one of the good stories about the sport, can't knock his heart and aspirations, the guy has gone far in two difficult paths.

No one else spot this ........:patsch

he is talking bull$it he was spawnign the same lies before the pac fight saying he was using the money to pay off college and get a new car. He has made more than enough almost $2mill from that one fight alone. He may well be paying off the last of his college fees leaving him a measly $1.99 mill. Poor wee soul !

You can put a price on happiness if you're living in a cardboard box because you're poor, sure you can be happy on the streets but you'd be happier at least having a shower and fridge with stuff in it.

I don't remember anyone saying this when pac was fighting him? But when king khan fights him then it's 'oh it's a cherry pick'

Tough fight for Khan, but he will make it look so easy

So Algieri is pretty much just a part time boxer

    interesting.

This means he could be a way better fighter if he focused solely on boxing. Maybe he's a Pernell Whitaker waiting to emerge?

Its mostly people that dislike Khan that are saying he's getting KO'd or outboxed

Algieri is not a good opponent as far as I'm concerned, but apparently he was good enough for Pacquiao to fight on PPV just one fights ago so he must be at least good enough to fight on free TV for a guy like Khan
