Guy has been around for almost 20 years and beat at least 10 heavyweight champions.

As for this generation split, which is never black and white, Haye should go under generation 3.

chagaev and Haye both beat Valuev. They should be in generation 2

Byrd beat tua. He should be in generation 1

Peter knocked out Maskaev and beat toney twice. He should be in generation 2

Ibragimov beat Briggs and Holyfield. He should be in generation 2.

More like an era and a half, not three.

I would say that an ERA has a timeframe oft five years. So he beat guys from the ERA 1995-2000: Schulz and Mercer
    2000-2005: mccline, shufford, jefferson, byrd
2005-2010: Brewster, Peter, Thompson, chagaev, ibragimov, byrd
2010-2015: haye, povetkin, pulev, peter, chambers
2015-2020: Jennings and next fight fury and wilder

So this is incredible impressive. And he has great wins over:
Schulz, Byrd 1, Mccline, Peter 1, byrd 2, Brewster 2, ibragimov, Thompson 1, chagaev, chambers, haye, povetkin, pulev and Jennings.
These guys are good fighters and top contenders. These guys could be top ten in every era. Byrd, povetkin and haye are all top three material

WHen Wlad retires he will have been a top 10 fighter in his division for 20 (!) years. That is unheard of, even for ATGs.
