He is a great fighter to watch, that's all you can ask for sometimes in this sport. He doesn't have the best chin though he CAN take a shot contrary to popular belief, it all depends on his positioning. It's still not a reliable chin though. He is fast and attacks and goes for the punishment and is willing to get some back, he is almost impossible to outbox so his opponents have to try to knock him around, makes for intriguing situations. Obviously Alexander isn't the greatest guy to look exciting against but I still enjoyed that fight as I'll probably enjoy this one even though I highly doubt chris will have much success.

Around here a non elite chin equals glass chin.

As a massive Lennox fan I can empathize with them. Obviously Lennox was leagues better overall, many levels brighter and had a better chin but after McCall happened I seldom rested easy...

But with a defensively irresponsible idiot like Khan with some grade A glass in his chin and it must get really nerve-wracking.

His most entertaining fights have been against Maidana, Garcia, and Diaz and they were indeed great watches.

He is pretty flashy and throws leather so he's entertaining enough on his end even when dominating a fight but his fights on a whole are only good watches when he is facing a puncher as aside from the Peterson fight he usually dominates his opponents start to finish unless they have power to buzz him.

Although I will say he has been in some ugly watches purely from a casual fans' entertainment viewpoint. McCloskey was a joke dance session, Collazo was seen as a one sided clinch-fest, Peterson was a foul fest, Molina and Kotelnik and Alexander really didn't do anything for me in either. I will never watch any of these fights ever again.

Who are these recent opponents with less than a 50% KO ratio? :huh In the last 5 years he's only fought 1 opponent who came in with less than 50% of his wins by KO and that was Molina.

    I noticed that too
He took some hellacious shots from Maidana and got on his bike but Maidana has proven he can't half crack so you have to commend him for that performance, he even took that fight to prove he wasn't packing glass, you also have to admire the guy for that even though it's pretty funny. I can't really hold the Diaz one against him as he was off balance, he doesn't have a great chin but it's okay, which obviously isn't secure enough at this level though.

I wonder if Khan's most devoted fans who watch his fights via Sky plus actually watch the rounds live... Or fast forward with one hand covering most of their eyes and looking only at the round timer... And when they see Amir sitting down at the end of the round, only then do they rewind back and actually watch the round.

He is exciting, I know this as someone who always used to rot against him because of his hype, one thing he always brought was pure excitement, and his vulnerability only added to that

**** it, I'll even give him credit for revitalising my interest in boxing because of how exciting he was

Agreed except the Prescott fight was the most entertaining for me. He knocked the **** out of Khan real quick. :!:

EH? Kotelnik was a fantastic champion considering he had beaten Maidana (and should have beaten Alexander) and was one of the few guys to beat Kindelan in the amateurs, he also won silver in the olympics while losing to Kindelan just like Khan. So there was some pedigree behind this fight.

Khan did not deserve a shot at him but no arguments in how he beat Kotelnik at all (Picked against Khan in that one)

I honestly cannot pick ONE Khan fight that was boring from first bell to last
