Khan v Mayweather is still the biggest fight left out there, you guys are crazy.

There's no other name close to that level out there to pull in PPV numbers.

I'm no huge Khan fan, but there's some straight hate going on up in here.

This was a close fight, the right guy won.. and some of you need to re-learn how to score a fight.. and you need to understand what "buzzed" means.

Farhood was terrible tonight. Besides the way too wide scorecard, he botched the 11 and 12th rounds. Scored 11 for Khan in a round where he did nothing and was buzzed twice. Then gave the 12th to algieri to compensate in a round that Khan clearly won.

Hearing people say Khan would beat Mayweather is vomit inducing. Khan is sitting in his room thinking, "Man, how did Pacquiao beat him so easily when I'm better than Pacquiao?"

Just because Pac made Algieri look like an amateur doesn't mean you can Khan. Such a separation of class. Khan struggled against pillow-fisted Algieri. Algieri timed Khan with the right hand and left hook all night. ALGIERI. THE SAME GUY THAT WAS DESTROYED BY PACQUIAO. If Pacquiao struggled against Mayweather, then Amir will get knocked out cold. One check left hook by Floyd and Khan is on his knees.

Algieri is probably the quickest guy he's faced, including Malignaggi.

Yeah, that probably more aptly describes it.

Still his combos (such as they were...it was mostly jab-&-club, rinse & repeat...with a few backfoot shoeshines here and there) seemed to lack a bit of their sizzle and "wow factor" in terms of speed, compared with how I remember them.

Speaking of whom, anybody else bummed we got deprived of Malignaggi vs. O'Connor to make this an epic triple-header? :-(

Huh, not at 147. Floyd's power (and the lack of throwing with power, fragile hands and all) at 147 is mediocre at best.

He has enough to keep someone honest, much like Khan.. but his power at 147 is not great at all... :patsch

Algieri timed him with the straight left hand a few times. Khan opens himself up right before he throws those repeated combos, Algieri was fast enough to catch him right before he threw them. It stopped Khan from throwing sometimes.

Why are people saying Mayweather does Khan in? The styles are much more in Khan's favour than either Porter or Brook. Porter hospitalises Khan for me, based on his 147 performances. Mayweather would struggle a bit I think...

That wasn't control from Khan.....he was being controlled and forced out of his comfort zone all night. He scored enough points to possibly pull off a legit win if you liked quantity over aggression but he didn't look confident after going 12 with Chris. Khan fought Algeri's fight.

It's not great, but it's more than Algieri.

A lot of that had to do with Algeiri.. he's pretty damn crafty defensively. He's also very unorthodox.. so Khan looking bad had a lot to do with Algieri..

Chris would make a lot of guys at 147 look bad.. though maybe not beat them.. but he'd fight close with Thurman, Brook, Maidana..
