I lthink Mitchell but Ricky Burns was never a big puncher. Linares been stopped 3 times but you have to take in account the guys they've fought and the type of knockout. Linares been stopped earlier by a round or two before Mitchell. Burns has a good chin and that's about all he has so he took what Mitchell had. I think Linares hits harder than Mitchell but i guess you've got to take into account who've they fought and who they're stopping. Durable guys, laundromat workers,...etc... I lean towards Mitchell due to the crowd at the O2. I think they'll get behind him and Linares will feel the pressure even though Linares has been on the road in his career in Japan,...etc...but it's a different story. Kevin Mitchell by stoppage 5th or 6th round if he survives the early onslaught.
Mitchell was stopped by burns, burns is no puncher but was a world level lightweight. If you're not training properly and partying hard, you're not fighting fit. No resistance. Katsidis was also a world level fighter and pretty strong although not a huge puncher, a very hard fighter if you're not elite. Mitchell has beaten estrada, john murray who was a good fighter, Prescott he decapitated khan, maduma looked pretty good. He ate all their hardest shots. Mitchell hasn't got a terrible chin, it's average. I think he hits harder than linares aswell. If goes toe to toe, mitchell for me. Linares can outbox him though.
