Algieri did not hurt Khan, you guys are really reaching here aren't you lmao. We know when Khan is hurt, his legs go and he falls over.

When Khan gets hurt he either does the chicken dance or else tries to act cool and his face turns into Bert from Sesame Street.

Khan is getting knocked out by Mayweather.

It's also worth speculating that in Mayweather's last fight he may be more likely to let his brittle hands go, it's not like he'll have to worry about a 4/8 month turnaround.

Floyd may very well end up holding up Khan so he makes it past 5 rds.

This argument really make me laugh. Floyd just beat Manny who toyed wit Algieri, but now if Khan put up a good performance against Algieri, Floyd would've been scared of him. Really?

Cotto has a much larger fanbase than Khan!

Cotto can fill MSG. Whereas Khan can only get 7000 fans to watch him fight in his opponents home state!! They had to downsize the arena by 60%:patsch.

Thurman has far more American based fans than Khan. And since it it is American fans that matter (in the ppv equation) that's all that counts.

Depending on Brook's performance tonight, Kell could wind up with more American based fans than Amir!!

    :good:lol:

Add to that the fact that Amir looked less than great against Algieri and you can only:patsch

When you watched him in the ams the physical talent was so immense you couldn't help but hope he fully tapped into his potential. So even after he proved himself to be a complete munter a small part of me wanted to believe that he could actually make strides under Hunter. But he is still just so sh*t defensively it's hilarious. You'd think a chinless wonder like him would have learned by now to focus on not getting hit instead of shoe shining with powderpuff combos will dangling his glass gob out there. But he's still the same 'ol Amir, getting hit with left hooks and overhand rights like it's the name of the game. When you get your legs buckled 3 times by Chris Algieri you should probably reconsider fighting the truly elite guys.

What was the name of the Frenchman with the career KO ratio around 5% who made him touch his glove down? I swear I'm not exaggerating, I'm almost certain the man has 1 stoppage in around 20 fights or so. It wasn't the same as 20% KO Limond seriously hurting him but it was hilarious nonetheless.
