    Well to be fair, Algieri was only let out of his cage after the 10th round of the Pacquiao fight. Pac never knocked down the uncaged Algieri after knocking down the caged version 6 times. For all we know Chris had been in the cage his entire career up until round 11 of the Manny Pacquiao fight. And for all we know he may well have never gotten back in the cage since round 11 of the Manny Pacquiao fight. So it is not entirely fair to compare the Algieri that Pac fought who was caged for 83% of the fight with the fully uncaged version that Amir fought. Food for thought :think

    fact is algeiri gained experience from pac and he has better new training team. khan is just overrated. he has speed but he doesn't have good defense and his chin is glass. he was lucky algeiri is feather fisted.

    The Algieri that fought Khan would have got ktfo against Pac. Want to know why Pac hasn't had a KO in 5 years? Its because all his opponents run, or be very defensive. That includes Rios and Clottey. Margo was just too big, should have been stopped and even then, Margo was a lot more defensive minded vs Pac (hands up, using the jab) than he was against Mosley who walked in with his chin.

    Algieri came out the cage vs Khan because he know Khan has no power.

    It isn't a coincidence all of Pac's recent opponents stayed in their cages. Even the usual animals behaved very tamed in comparison.

    fact is Chris got KD 6 times. 1 time he should've been legit counted out.


    his chin was tenderized and you can say he was Pacquiao's left over and still Khan couldn't put the fork in it.



    Khan is overrated.

    Last night's Algieri gets brutally violated against Pac. Pac knocked down a running, cycling, backpedaling Algieri 6X.

    Algeri probably is a little better but there isnt gonna be a huge difference in one fights time.

    Algeri now looks like a pretty good win for pac

    He fought differntly.

    Different trainer, different approach; more offensive minded and come forward. Far more confident too.


    Against Pac he must have ran half a marathon.....backwards.

    Khan chose this fight, it was his choice, people shouldn't forget that fact. Khan turned down other fights for this.

    Khan thought he would do a better job than Pacquiao, Algieri was coming off a beating, it was all set up for him and yes he won but it wasn't convincing and it wasn't sensational.

    Khan talks like he is in the upper bracket of elite fighters, he isn't a top 10 WW in my opinion after watching him last night.

    Time for Khan to forget Mayweather, Pacquiao and go and beg Brook for a cash out fight.
