True enough. Khan had one job and he couldn't fulfil it. I think the real winner from last night could be Danny Garcia. I mean, if you consider the likelihood of you losing your 0 but making a tonne of money as "winning".

Come on man, stop with the Floyd should fight GGG nonsense. He shouldn't and won't. Plus HBO and Showtime aren't gonna do all that again 4 months out with a fraction of the money on the line.

    Not gonna happen :bananamaniac:bananamaniac:bananamaniac
    Maidana - Broner/Mayweather
    Pacquiao - Algieri
    Alvarez - Trout
    Guerrero - Berto
    Cotto - Margarito
    Ortiz - Berto
    Mosley - Margarito
    Marquez - Diaz
    Hatton - Castillo
    De la Hoya - Mayorga

Those were all big fights that caught the eye. Some were career defying victories, others were highlights.

Khans fight and victory over Algieri was neither.

It wasn't really an audition. Mayweather will still fight him.

I noticed that Khan is STILL vulnerable to the left hook. It's ridiculous.

All these fools are forgetting that Floyd likes to pick his opponents coming off spectacular performances, which is why Amir was so set on putting on a show and an "event". It was because he knew he had to look exceptional to get that Floyd fight. Instead, he struggled and was wobbled by a guy with 8KO's who Pacquiao completely outclassed and dropped multiple times. Proving that Khan simply is not in the same league as that of Pac/Floyd.

    khan looked slower

khan looked like he has 0 power

khan looked like he had 0 defense

i think khan is finished and should retire

The fact is Khan has ALWAYS been mostly attributes. Without his speed, he's just a fighter with a glass jaw, average power, and low ring IQ.

I'm not on that Triple G bandwagon just saying that the only point for Floyd to move up in weight is Golovkin. Otherwise the smart option is to stay at 147 where you still got Thurman, Garcia, and to a lesser degree Khan and a Pacquiao rematch.

based on what? Khan's mouth? Popularity? Nothing about his performance suggests Floyd will fight him

Even though I don't think Khan deserved the fight before last night, he had a chance to solidify his name in the Money May sweepstakes but he fuc*ed that all up...
I think Cotto II might be back at the top of Floyd's options list. Truth be told, I would love to see that fight.

3 most deserving contenders in the Welterweight division

    -Brook
    -Khan
    -Porter (if he beats Broner)

Brook- doesn't fight regularly on US television, not close to the amount of money Khan would bring in.

Khan and Porter would have a similar quality of resume if Porter beats Broner, but Khan the bigger name and would bring in more money.

Not a Khan fan by any means, but he's the clear front runner for Mayweather.

I guess Thurman another option, but he's already fighting in July, not really practical.

The audition was a success since he did looked poor.

Says who, you? I guess I can take that to the bank and cash it huh. Question, When was the last time you saw Mayweather lose because he didn't get a knockout?:think
