    That's exactly what he did. No shame in that honestly, it was the eleventh round of a very punishing fight. He can be proud of what he did here tonight - but he did indeed quit.

    You don't get to just casually sit down in the middle of a championship fight while getting lit up. That's signaling you're done.

    So far the only disappointment tonight has been the Ryder stoppage but all the fights besides Cleverly have been excellent (even Selby and Gradovich was interesting)

    Now, I'd like to see Hearn to rematch Hibbert and Ryan and Mitchell and Linares, although Mitchell will be out for a while due to the cut.

    Linares battled through adversity and took a long count but did what great fighters do and found a way. Mitchell didn't protest the stoppage, he knew he had nothing left - the cut was getting worse and he couldn't do anymore than what he did.

    FOTY contender, perhaps. I love seeing a fight that shows all that is great about boxing, skill, courage and an epic comeback by Linares who proved his mental strength. Both men have made me a fan. Sorry pretty emotional after watching that.

    Kevin took a knee as well, he had nothing left, good fight, enjoyed that. Much respect to both.

    Linares showed some toughness that sometimes he doesn't show.
