2-3 years ago he was the NEXT BIG THING out of the UK

    He obviously flamed out....

    Was he just overrated?
    Not dedicated?

    Losses to Bundu and Brook

    He aint champ material

    Wasn't he a 140 boxer?

    Why he goto 147?

Not enough power or offense. He couldn't keep Brook off him and didn't have a winning mentality. He also looked like he was trying to survive from the first bell.
Clearly a fighter who could never adapt to the pro's, he needs to re-think his career as he's been found out, I would say fair play if he went in with a real intention to take Kell Brook into deep waters and win the fight, but what we witnessed was a fighter who didn't know what his identity was, he just got outboxed, outstrengthed and mauled. His career is in tatters.

no discipline and too much hype at the start of his career.

    Clearly not dedicated.

Eats Nando's, Beans on toast... You know, we are talking about someone who just challenged for a WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP and he eats like a TV commercial!

Add to that that he clearly loves his home comforts (stays local, uses his old trainer etc). It seems as if he is the boss and won't listen to anyone.

It's as if he's shackled himself down to all of the above.

He should do what Eubank SNR did and go to the states and spar the baddest of the bad. Dudes who don't care about your credentials or your name. The kind of sparring you won't get in your gym (must be the only pro training out of an amateur gym!) or country.

    See a sports physiologist.
Ditch the bodybuilding diet and trainer.
Train in the state for 3 months.
Come back and train in the best pro gym in the country (probably Gallaghers).
    Get a SPORTS NUTRITIONIST
    Get down to 140.

    Possibly see massive benefits, perhaps?

Hasn't he struggled with depression which no doubt has led to the unfulfilled potential?

He is not dedicated, I've said it for years as have many others, he is not a welterweight.

Since he turned pro he has lacked power and even before that a lack of discipline with weight - this isn't a surprise to lose to Brook. Neither was it a big surprise that he lost to Bundu for the European title. He has to regroup and consider how he want to approach the sport.

Would agree with all of this but would say he should move permanently to the states, but if Eddie has his way he will end up with sims

    Mentally weak.

When someone doesn't make weight for the Olympics, you know they have problems.

He should be at 140, training with a proper pro trainer etc etc

Everyone knew he was going to be stopped, and most likely in the mid rounds.

This was not some kind of surprise, he is a domestic level operator only.

I think he was just not that good to begin with, tbh.
