All you see is $$$$$$$s. You are missing out on experiencing life. A boxer's road is more than money, but it is about what places you would like to fight at. Like if I were an A side, one of my goals would be to fight at a baseball or football stadium and sell it out. (like Froch Groves) Make it an outdoor event and the fans will appreciate that.

Floyd has no interest in allowing the most regular non-rich fans to see him fight in person. The MGM Grand is a very small arena and regular folks who aren't rich can't afford high priced seats. Any Champion of the People would want to fight in a baseball stadium or football stadium to get crowds 4-8x that of Floyd little fights at the MGM grand.

Floyd is like a NFL football team who changes the rules so he can play all his games at home and doesn't have to play a road game. Canelo fought in a baseball stadiums to give the fans an event so the common man can pack the stadium to see the big fight. Canelo fights for the common man while Floyd fights for the Hollywood movie stars.

If Floyd was a fighting champion, he would finally defend his title and offer to fight in the Texas baseball stadium. That way Floyd can show he can take the show on the road. But he don't do that stuff though. It's just boring the fans with the same ol thing every time. That's why Floyd is going to have to retire. The sport has past Floyd by. There's not much sand left in the hourglass.

We can all thank Floyd and TMT for the same ol MGM MGM MGM every time and a sole focus on $$$ and who cares about anything else attitude even if we bore the fans to sleep. We all know Floyd isn't TBE because other fights like SRL fought all over and that is what a boxer's road is about.

It's also worth noting Floyd clearly has severe OCD issues and it's borderline superstition in some respects the more you research about him. He is very locked in and insulated with the MGM, no not because they're all in his pocket etc but he is extremely set in his ways and would feel kinda vulnerable if he had to fight somewhere else. He is a colossal boost to the local economy and has no reason or motivation to fight elsewhere, he's always said the UK is somewhere he'd like to fight (maybe for 50, can't see him heaving up the show for the next fight, he'd need a ton of preparation to get comfortable with the idea) Brook or Khan might attract him over by then.

I think I'd do it Ali style and fight all over the world in my opponent's backyards. No home cooking, cause I'm a fearless warrior and just that good. I'd hit all the major boxing arenas. I'd do Vegas at the MGM Grand, MSG in New York, the Venetian in Macau and get some of that China money, the O2 in England, Monte Carlo the French Vegas, Estadio Azteca in Mexico City to try and break Chavez' attendance record, and maybe have someone build a custom arena just for the novelty like Tex Rickard did for Dempsey vs Tunney.

I'd probably take a little less to get the top opponents, since I'd probably earn more in the end than fighting bums for top dollar. I'd also like to fight everyone in a row three or four times a year and just clean out the division in like two or three years and move up. I'd schedule the fights three in advance with the #1,2, and 3 challengers one after another, and then rematch my toughest fights or losses like Marciano and Joe Louis did.

If I were in fighting shape, I'd be a lightweight. I wouldn't impose any glove and ring stipulations cause that's a ***** move.

    If i were the A-side:

My career path would be decided by a fight poll on my website. A list of the top 10 guys in my division, one weight up and one weight down (meaning 30 names). After each fight I would place up the poll and let the fans decide on who i fight, whether dangerous or not. ( Whilst selling my merchandise on there for extra profit. ) The idea of participation from the fans who after all is paying your wage, will only encourage attention and give new eyes on the sport as well as increasing my popularity. I'd fight 3 times a year wherever i choose. Ref should be government sanctioned but the judges should be public figures e.g fans of the sport (Stallone, Jamie Fox, Paris Hilton haha) so if they happen to provide a bogus scorecard then at least they cant run and hide into the bribery hole they came from and it would make it a little more interesting to see 'who is judging this week?' I would walk out second every single time with pyrotechnics that would put Wrestlemania to shame. Ticket prices would be cheap and affordable and the loser of the fight would have to run around the ring naked.

floyd as an a-side will not fight in a stadium or large crowd because it destroys his saleability. his fights does not entertain. people left some of his fights for a reason. that's why he fights on mexican holidays and with a big named opponent. if floyd will not fight on a mexican holiday i'm sure his ppv will be very poor. that is how greatness is measured. not a smoke and mirror type like floyd hyped by media and clinging to big names and latinos to ensure success.

Vegas/NSAC are as responsible as Floyd himself for him still having that bogus 0. That's why he wont fight anywhere else he's practically GUARANTEED to win in Vegas no matter what. Anyone that cannot see that must be brain dead

If I were the A side my entrances would be epic. I would have body doubles doing flips over the ring like Prince Naseem Hamed with fireworks rivaling a KISS concert. Hell, I'd even have a body double doing the boxing for me. I'd just hide under the ring, slapping the ringcard girls booty everytime they come down the ring. My promotional company would have all the best future talent, that way Id pit them against each other and by the time I fight them, they'd have lost 10 times or more, shells of their former selves. I'd fight the Fighter of the Decade, but from 20 yrs before.
