AJ needs rounds. A lot of these slow, plodding HW's don't have the necessary footwork or speed to get away from AJ. They just put their gloves up and sit on the ropes which allows AJ to tee off on them and punch right through their guard.

It is obvious AJ has very good power so just getting in a tough HW won't do anymore. Johnson is tough but he couldn't take his power so a HW who can move a bit and make AJ work for his openings would probably be best. Malik Scott maybe. Further on down the line Jennings would be a good match up for him, but he would be to much for him now.

    Great performance from him.

He is in a very tough division though. He may also find it hard getting the big fights. Unless he starts getting a massive following he may be seen as high risk - low reward.

Selby was going to lose if not for the british stoppage that saved his ass

It would have been interesting to see how he would have handled Gradovich's pressure in the later rounds, but I wouldn't say he definitely would have lost. He was winning all the rounds and looking comfortable.

Also, Gradovich and his team didn't protest much. They had the look of someone who knew they were outclassed tonight.

Medzhidov is a monster, and Wlad is Wlad. Personally I'm impressed with him. Would love to see him against Charr next.

Joshua said he couldn't beat Wlad in sparring & wasn't read for him yet recently. He ain't getting crushed by the heavyweight king any time soon.
