The commentating was pure knob polishing. Even when Selby was getting hit, they're talking about how brilliant he was. Gradovich was coming on with 4 rounds to go and the cut was not serious at all.

Classic British stoppage (to go to the cards) to protect the home town fighter. The ref, the doctor was in the pockets of Selby's promoter. They need a rematch in neutral ground.

Gradovich knew it too. He was getting screwed big time.

 

I agree horrible stoppage but Gradovich was far from 'coming on', he was getting lit up and looked relieved when the ref stopped it. Not a sniff of a complaint from him

 

This man needs a legit fight. Someone with 2 arms and 2 legs. That work.

 

Gradovich has never been one to complain. Didn't complain when he was robbed of a rightful victory in his previous fight. The guy is a warrior and he gives it all. Hell, I don't think he even knows what to say cause he can't speak English. He knew he couldn't do anything about it.

Gradovich has always been a guy who comes from behind. Watch all his fights. He closes strong on all his fights and breaks the other guy down. The championship rounds were his forte and Selby was getting tagged more and more.

They did everything they could to protect Selby and not give Gradovich a chance to do his best work.

 

Gradovich hardly won a round in the fight and he wasn't about to KO Selby. He would take more damage while still losing a shutout. He didn't even complain about the decision himself.

 

He also didn't complain about getting robbed in his previous fight. That's how he is.

 

Wilder fought his first top 1500 opponent on his 30th fight or so I guess we can give Joshua a break for his 13th fight and enjoy him when he fights once in every 2 months.

 

Well Wilder took over 30 fights to fight anybody with a pulse and he is now a world champion.

AJ inside 5 mins just finished the career of a fighter that has never been stopped.
Johnson that went 12 with Fury, 12 with Chisora and recently 12 with Charr and once upon a time 12 with Vitali.
I say not bad for 13 fights in to his pro career, wtf do you want after 13 fights?

You have to remember AJ didn't have much of an amateur career either.

So OK, Name me some realistic opponents for a HW with 13 fights under his belt....
