What now for Mitchell?

His loved ones need to keep a close eye on him firstly
Then a long, long rest and if he fights again go for a steady fight against a patsy at the end of the year to see where he's at.That was a hard watch towards the end and as others have said he's just below world level unfortunately

 

Just lacks the durability and really I thought he could of put it on linares more. Instead of cornering himself

 

Rematch if possible

 

Eddie said if Mitchell would have made it to the end of the round he got stopped in he would have won on points had the fight been stopped on cuts.
Anybody know how the judges scored it?

 

Mitchell was up by two, six, and level on the three cards according to the commentators

 

He was posing too much in that corner, the only time linares was putting the hurt on mitchell when kev wasn't moving.

 

He was unlucky in that fight but lucky to get another title shot in the first place.

 

I don't see Kevin getting a rematch or another world title shot
Fantastic fight but three attempts and stopped three times, better fighters than Kevin haven't had those opportunities

think he did well... the facial damage was a big factor in the defeat... maybe a rematch if he has the heart for it... it wa a tough tough fite for both of them....really enjoyed it:good
