Brits are crawling back from pig barns misery where The Haymaker left them. And then was that David Price.

 

Actually I think it's quite common, but rather.....a few months go by and then they want back in the ring again or need money.

 

My only problem and question I have for Anthony Joshua is cardio into late rounds? I don't have faith in that at all.

 

Has Joshua fought someone who punches back yet?

 

We also didn't have faith in Wilder's stamina before the Stiverne match and he proved the critics wrong. We will just have to wait and see until he gets an opponent who's not getting pushed over.

 

To put things in perspective, Joshua has yet to beat an opponent as good as Juan Carlos Gomez, who CRUSIERWEIGHT contender Dmitiri Kudryashov knocked out in 1.

I am not a Joshua hater, but thus far he has proven nothing more than being a big heavyweight with excellent power. A test of chin and skills is in order.

 

Johnson has some skills and could have been a bit more than he was, but he never took the chances in the ring that he would have needed to be successful, and his ego was way out of proportion to anything he actually accomplished.

He contended for a title, and that is nothing to be ashamed of. He mentioned real estate, and I think he does own a bowling alley or two, so he can make money in other ways. So good for him. Get out when you got all your marbles.

Sadly Johnson made a career out of "going the distance" years after his non effort against Vitali back in the day. Being the game opponent with not too much risk, and giving them rounds.

It's a choice, but not one that many boxfans like.

Why would Hearn waste money on a bribe when everyone knew AJ would win, it was never really in doubt it was just how he would win.

Also if Johnson was going to take a dive why the hell did he get up in the first round he could have easily stayed down and nobody would have known, it wasn't like Wilder/Scott when Scott barely got hit and quit. Johnson took a lot of hard shots, he was still standing and getting hit when the ref stopped it, if he was going to dive he could have made it a lot less painful for himself.

 

When has johnson ever been ambitious against decent fighters.
