If Kessler has the stamina and output he had in the Froch rematch down the stretch then I'd pick him to win the majority of the second half of the fight. And I don't think DeGale would stop him. You never know with an aged semi-retired fighter though, no matter who it is.
DeGale UD. I wouldn't be interested in this fight unless Kessler first has a tune up and looks good in it.
In addition to being devilishly handsome and having the coolest tattoos in boxing, Kessler is an absolute gentleman and a scholar and as fine an ambassador for the sport as you could ask for. But it doesn't end there as he's also totally fearless and certified iron-jawed road warrior too. As much as I would love to see him come back and recapture past glories, he's been way past his best for ages and he took a horrible amount of flush bombs in the Froch rematch. His balance looked off in that one too. This is what was being said the first time he fought Froch, never mind by the time they had the rematch. [YT]gW7m-2aTQPQ[/YT] Like I said, he's an absolute gentleman and a class act and I'd hate to see him get hurt or take a bad beating.
People scratching their heads now thinking "IB's usually so objective" - you are probably all newbies. You weren't around this place back when Kessler was active. Let's put it this way - in the build-up to Calzaghe vs. Kessler, you had an Über-troll in either corner - namely, China_Hand_Joe and myself. When it comes to Kessler, objectivity flies out the window.

Does Gvozdyk have a sister with giant knockers? Did he ever record a duet with Volbeat? Did he ever beat up Mundine? I rest my case.
It's terribly close but the tatts might just sway it in his favour. Has a new challenger for the crown emerged? :think http://i.imgur.com/Nw93wgN.png [YT]g6iVrsf_QnA[/YT]
