Brook gonna keep a rep off beating Porter then fighting euro bums? Dragging dudes up from 140 when they shouldn't be fighting above 135. Why not a real challenge Kell?

Brandon Rios shouldn't be fighting above 135? :huh

He was 163 fight night last time out and missed weight the time before that, he was coming in over 150 when he was at Lightweight.

I think he's trying to stress that everyone pretends Brandon Rios is the LW from the Acosta/Antillon wars. They forget that his career since then has been entirely a disaster relative to expectations with the only exception being the first Alvarado fight.

Rios is not world level anymore.

Came in overweight against Murray. Lost 12 rounds to Abril in his last 135 fight. Then moved up and went 1-1 with Alvarado in his only two fights at 140. Then lost 12 rounds to Pacquiao. He was losing to Chaves before a sketchy DQ. Then he quickly beat down Alvarado, 1-3 in his last 4 with all being high punishment wars.

Considering that the above list is his ENTIRE relevant career spare for Acosta/Antillon, the hype Rios gets is unbelievably agenda based and we all know why that would be.

Have a hard time seeing Rios win a round in this one. I mean, when Alvarado chose to box Rios he won.... and Brook is much more skilled. Brook also has enough power that Rios cant just walk through it.

I think Rios may have improved a bit, but not enough to compete with Brook. I wish Brook could land a Bradley or Thurman fight, those would be fights id happily pay to see.
