Saw a couple articles this morning stating Beltran failed a drugs test after his last win against Ao , Maybe this is the reason he couldnt shift the last few lbs on the scales , Cheating Scumbag

What did he test for. Pretty ignorant to say that the failed test could be the reason for not making weight. A lot of AAS drugs can help a fighter make weight optimally for a fight.

Same thing as that Kid Goahead dude, Stanozolol/Winstrol (steroid).
Wouldn't be surprised if he came up with the same lame excuse Johnson and Awad came up with, a spiked drink :!:

That's what it was though... and of course you can only cut so much.

the report i read was confusing....i couldnt work out if he tested positive after Ao fight or tested positive now while in training for next fight? that seems much more likely imo ...winstrol is ideal for boxers because it is out the system quickly so to test positive straight after a fight would be highly stupid

The drug only works as well as the person putting in the effort. If you don't take full advantage of the benefits of things like winstrol by putting in the work then they are useless. Contrary to some mainstream beliefs, steroids are not a magic pill.

The drugs are incredibly powerful. They're designed after all for people who are ill (their use by sportspeople is actually abuse) and they will build muscle without any training whatsoever. Add hard training and good genetics into the mix and of course the results are astounding.

In the quest for size, victory, money, glory etc it's amazing the risks people will take. I guess it's no different to women having various surgeries for vanity. They trade the risk off against the reward.

I understand their use in pro sport where it's all about the bucks and is almost a pre requisite in many sports. Other folk who use them to me are weak minded, but each to his own who am I to judge. :thumbsup

Using them to build muscle is not abuse IMO. Also stuff like anavar, dianabol, winstrol etc (orals) will not build muscle on their own if you didn't lift weights. Steroids are only dangerous If used incorrectly, same with anything, you can do yourself in if you misuse vitamin b. If you educate yourself and do proper research then taking juice to enhance your physique is fine.

the amount of naive 'experts' on Peds astounds me...if it was as easy as popping a few winny everyone would be a world champ...

peds are just the cherry on the top of the cake for an athlete...

Are you referring to me? Because if that's what you've interpreted from my post then you've misinterpreted what I was trying to say.

    no .not at all....

i was referring to people who wouldnt know what a Steroid looked like if it jabbed them in the **** yet seem to be an expert and outraged that anybody would actually lower themselves by cheating in such a das****ly way...

I like this post, at the end of the day taking any sort of drug is unnecessary, it's clearly pretty standard (ish) practice.
Each to their own, I certainly wouldn't be happy with winning anything knowingly taking drugs. :bbb
