To be fair ant lots of docs admit there is no way of knowing the long term effects for people who have done steroids as they just simply can't do clinical trials. Lots of docs in documentaries have even said they haven't seen any evidence of negative long term effects. Orals affect your liver, which is an organ that repairs itself when it's not being worked, that's why it's done in cycles.

some of the harshest drugs for your liver and kidneys are readily available in almost every shop going for 20p...

what i dont like is the whole blanket 'cheat outrage' that comes with an athlete failing a drug test.....i do think people are slowly realising that the majority of athletes we watch on telly will be using PEDs at some point though...

I agree on your second point tdf. It isn't cheating if everyone's doing it. Only the utterly naive think most pro sportspeople don't indulge and the few who get caught are in a minority.

Sport's business. Business is dirty. It's called life. :deal

Yep. And when you consider that doctors are prescribing AIDS patients and patients suffering from muscle wasting diseases these orals at much higher doses than recreational bodybuilders use, its probably safe to say the adverse effects are exaggerated.

take a note of the first point too pal :deal

i feel for Beltran,it makes me wonder sometimes if every now and again someone has to get caught just to show the testers are doing a job....i think its fairly common knowledge some of THE most well known boxers have failed but been mysteriously let off:think

The first 'point' isn't a point. It's fkn obvious anything taken to excess is bad for ya. Same is true of beetroot. :deal

(Note to self, mustn't keep getting drawn ant lol.)

Maybe Beltran beat you to it tdf? Has it actually been 100% confirmed what Beltran tested positive for? Because if not then the sensible money is on beetroot.

    winny i heard?

i couldnt make out if it was a failed test after last fight or a recent random test in training which i think would be much more likely. as you know winstrol is out your system quickly so id be amazed if he would take it only days before a fight?

Yeah would be strange for him to still be taking it that close to fight night, if he wasn't close to making weight a couple of days before weigh in then even winny probably wasn't going to help him all that much.
