Why do the media even give Khan a voice?

    If he gets the mayweather fight it will be the biggest injustice in the history of boxing. Hasn't fought a single top name welterweight recently and wants a mayweather fight, is this guy for real?!

    They give him a voice because he generates interest, hence people talking about him so much.

    You don't necessarily need to do much to get a Mayweather fight. Khan has some decent achievements, a decent resume and is quite well known.

    Come on, what has he really achieved? Just s****ing through against Maidana, I;'d call that his best win. Getting massacred by Garcia?

    He does seem like a major money grabber I think really that's the whole families focus. That's why he'll try anything to get the fight....guy is a total joke.

    Khan has more legitmacy than Maidana. Whose only claim to fighting mayweather was breaking down adrien broner, another guy straight outta Al Haymond's china cabinet... No real acheivement there. he just beat a hypejob then got some of the hype in return.

    Broner has power though, Khan has not fought anyone with power and a winner's mentality since Garcia. He has consistently picked weak opposition while Maidana has gone to war with punchers and won.

    Can you imagine the s*** Manny Pacquiao would get if he:
    Almost got KO'd by Willie Limond.
    Got quasi dropped by Rachid Drilzane.
    Beat Barrera because of a cut.
    Was one punch KO'd by Prescott.
    Was out on his feet for the last 3 rounds of a Maidana match.
    Got bullied and beat up by Lamont Peterson.
    Made to do a chicken dance repeatedly and stopped by Swifty.
    Beat McCloskey with a headbutt.
    KO'd Judah with a nutshot.
    Dropped by the corpse of Julio Diaz.
    And got bullied around the ring and fought scared against Chris Algieri.


    And his best untainted wins are over Malignaggi, Kotelnik, Salita, old ass shoy Collazo and overrated Porter victim Alexander.

    And Maidana didn't beat any particularly good welterweight after getting shut out by Alexander. Would you really be saying Khan is a legitimate challenger and deserves a shot if he beat Lopez, JSK and Broner?

    Theres VERY few people who are comparing Khans acheivements to Pacquiaos.

    Pacquiao is an ATG.

    Khan is however one of the best fighters out there that Mayweather hasnt already beaten in his weightclass.

    He also generates a large amount of interest.

    Your list is also ridiculosuly biased.

    The Judah shot was fine, Judah just quit.
    He was beating McCloskey.
    That "corpse" of Julio Diaz was coming off an arguable win against Shawn Porter.
    Lamont Peterson was doping and even then Khan arguably won.
    What has the Barrera fight ending because of a cut have to do with anything?? Was he losing the fight? Was he saved because of a cut?
