When Tua fought NZ fighter, Shane Cameron, he hit him while he was down. This was an angry Tua. A version of Tua who was rarely seen through out his career.

    Nice. :good

A couple of those I know did get DQ'd. But most got away with it !

It's ridiculous how many get away with it, and not just borderline case, we're talking blatant two/three-punch-combinations or bending right down to reach the opponent !

Norris got DQ'd for Walker, RJJ for Griffin. Norris had to have his own section for himself because he was such a prolific fouler.

Basically it comes down to how an opponent reacts. If he gets hurt or does a good acting job, he may win by DQ or it might be a no-contest. If not, the ref often doesn't care.

That's my compilation BTW...I'm always looking to add to it so any good examples that are missing are appreciated

Didn't Cameron constantly mock Tua in the run up to the fight? I remember Cameron being extremely ****y.

Yup bang on and thats why Tua came into the fight in shape and demolished him early in the 2nd round. That version of Tua in 2009 was easily the best in a decade, better than the over weight version that fought Lennox even. Then he decided to go back to his old, lazy ways and was a shell of himself for the rest of his career.
